Re:

The new QPQ rule was basically saying that all nominations require a QPQ before they can run. Since when the Synod hook runs, under the old rule you would have had 5 credits and would need to start doing them. Copying within Wikipedia

I noticed you recently split the Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev article. This appears to have been a perfectly fine thing to do, but when you copied the text you didn't provide any sort of attribution. While Wikipedia's content is free, the reuse of it (including on Wikipedia) requires attribution. Failure to do so makes it look like you wrote the text yourself and creates a copyright violation. Don't feel bad - this is a common mistake - but please do read WP:Copying within Wikipedia and follow the proper procedure next time. I already fixed everything for you this time via use of the {{copied}} template, which is probably the best way to document copying in general and especially is useful when a former article ends up as redirect - we don't want to accidentally delete the redirect later, as that too would create a copyright violation, and the template helps prevent this.
