Stripping of GA status

Are you sure you're allowed to just outright strip GA status from an article just because of an edit war? ViperSnake151  Talk  04:04, 6 August 2015 (UTC)

ViperSnake151, that GAR was completely against the rules, and I have just reverted it. Some Gadget Geek, the GAR instructions are quite clear, and no one is allowed to strip GA status from an article in the course of ten minutes. GAR is a deliberative process, and the hope is that the article will be improved by the reassessment, should it have slipped below the GA level.
