Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of career achievements by Novak Djokovic, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Grand slam. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Djokovic thanks

edit

I know we don't see eye-to-eye on every detail, but thanks for keeping the Novak Djokovic article up to date. He's our most important tennis player at this time. Cheers. Fyunck(click) (talk) 00:28, 26 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please don't jump ahead with rankings

edit

As it is written on the article pages, "DO NOT UPDATE RANKINGS UNLESS WWW.ATPWORLDTOUR.COM HAS ALSO UPDATED THE RANKINGS." This is usually on Mondays sometime, but it doesn't mean we update on Monday (or Tuesday in Australia). We update when the ATP or WTA gives us a source on their respective websites. Otherwise it's original research. Thanks. Fyunck(click) (talk) 20:37, 6 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Accusations

Hi, Soundwaweserb. Please refrain from accusing legitimate users and administrators of "anti-Serb bias" without evidence, as you did when your nomination of Novak Djokovic failed (something I failed to call you out over at the time) and more recently during the RfC. It's counterproductive and doesn't win you many allies (unless you're dealing with a sock of Asdisis, in which case, go to town with it). 23 editor (talk) 17:31, 2 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Novak Djokovic, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Wolbo (talk) 15:44, 2 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Una (Sava), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Novi Grad (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Čola

edit

Hvala. --5.43.77.235 (talk) 19:23, 8 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Novak Djokovic article

edit

Greetings, it seems we have a little problem on Novak Djokovic article page, user Mikola22 added the fact that Djokovic is of "half montenegrin, half croat ethnic heritage " according to Chris Bowers biography ,the problem is missuage of the biography since as you can see in the source (of that same book) page 12 Chapter One :https://books.google.de/books?id=NSCtDwAAQBAJ&pg=PT13&redir_esc=y#v=onepage&q&f=false that even Chris Bowers writes that :"In exploring Djokovic ethnic heritage, its important not to dilute the fact that he is a Serb" after that :"That his paternal ancestors are ethnic Serbs from Montenergro and that almost a half of population of Montenegro are Serbs" and also "that he is a third generation Serb born in Serbia" - User Mikola 22 is definetly not acting in good faith since he is ignoring all realible sources and puting the quote he wants to put, Thank you 178.9.202.230 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 14:13, 7 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Djokovic default

edit

Just a general non-wiki query since I'm not sure the rules. Sharapova failed a drug test so it made sense to make things retroactive in ranking points and money earned. Novak played just fine through three rounds. I can understand a default and a fine, but why is the ATP/ITF removing rankings and money earned from his prior three matches? For me it's a head-scratcher. Shapovalov hitting the chair umpire was during Davis Cup so we can't compare. The retroactive punishment seems odd to me. October 2023

edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Serbia. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. TylerBurden (talk) 11:59, 1 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
