re:gold coins article

edit

You are welcome to write your own article on gold coins by going to the page and just starting to write. There is a manual of style that sets out preferred guidelines for laying out your article, however since wikipedia is a massive collaborative projects any mistakes you make will most likely be eventually corrected by other users as well as having many other users who may help you with your article. To find your user talk page you can go to User talk:Spacetimecont, you can also follow the link that says my talk on the top right side of the page. If you have any other questions feel free to leave a note on my talk page. Jtkiefer T | @ | C ----- 20:06, September 6, 2005 (UTC)

MediEvil Resurrection article

edit

The best way I can think of is to write an article like this is to study a similar article that was already created. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is a good example to study the format/outline of the article. However, the article obviously has recieved a lot of work over a long period of time. A table of contents will automatically be generated when you have 4 or more sections (including sub sections) in the article. Also, familiarize yourself with the toolbar by moving the mouse pointer over the buttons for an explanation of what they do.

For a quick start, here are some suggestions for your article so far:
1. Copy & paste --> {{future}} to the top of the article since the game hasn't been released yet
2. Add some more general information into the intro section of the article (stating the developers, etc.)
3. Then state all of the known information (gameplay, characters, etc.) after the intro
4. Make an "External links" section at the very bottom of the page linking to websites with information on the game

If you need more specifics, I'll add more information later, but I'm really tired right now and am going to bed.

Hey, don't let wikipedia intemidate you, it's not terribly hard for writing simple articles. Most people use a notepad like program on their computer and just copy and paste into wikipedia. No, I wouldn't mind helpin out at all, but it would best if you could do it on your own so you can go do whatever you like. Here are a few links for you to try to learn how to create an article. Wikipedia:Your first article, Help:Contents, Wikipedia:Tutorial, Wikipedia:Sandbox. If you still feel you need assistance after that, feel free to email me(I cant IM since I'm at work :). Go to my user page, on the left is a link E-mail this user, click, and lemme know what you need. good luck  :) Joe I 21:07, 19 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

2019 US Banknote Contest

edit
  US Banknote Contest
November-December 2019

There are an estimated 30,000 different varieties of United States banknotes, yet only a fraction of these are represented on Wikimedia Commons in the form of 2D scans. Additionally, Colonial America, the Confederate States, the Republic of Texas, multiple states and territories, communities, and private companies have issued banknotes that are in the public domain today but are absent from Commons.

In the months of November and December, WikiProject Numismatics will be running a cross-wiki upload-a-thon, the 2019 US Banknote Contest. The goal of the contest is to increase the number of US banknote images available to content creators on all Wikimedia projects. Participants will claim points for uploading and importing 2D scans of US banknotes, and at the end of the contest all will receive awards. Whether you want to claim the Gold Wiki or you just want to have fun, all are invited to participate.

If you do not want to receive invitations to future US Banknote Contests, follow the instructions here
