Proposed deletion of Anguilla at the 2014 Commonwealth Games

The article Anguilla at the 2014 Commonwealth Games has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unnecessary fork. No secondary sources. Fails WP:GNG

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Consensus to keep?

Not sure what consensus you're referring to as the consensus at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dominica at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, which you started, was overwhelmingly in favour of deleting a large number of these articles. More have been deleted since. AusLondonder (talk) 17:54, 25 July 2024 (UTC)

I remember PRODing a lot of these articles x at multi sport event and it was rejected at WP:AFD. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 21:50, 25 July 2024 (UTC)
Every article is different and multi AfDs often fail, but the consensus I can see is that the Commonwealth Games articles lacking sources and content are generally not kept. AusLondonder (talk) 05:33, 26 July 2024 (UTC)
Yea anything pre 2014 (especially for the smaller CGF's) should be looked at for deletion imo. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 13:36, 26 July 2024 (UTC)

India at the 2024 Summer Olympics

Hi! This is regarding the edits on the page India at the 2024 Summer Olympics. I had seen dates being added across similar pages previously as well for other sporting events (Asian Games/CW Games). As you have mentioned MOS, it would be helpful if you could kindly point me to the relevant guideline or discussion if any. As there have been disputes and warring in the past on the mentioning of dates and the style of the same, it would be helpful.
Also, you had partially removed the dates while keeping a few (Women's Golf/Wrestling). Is there any specific rationale for the same?
Thanks in advance! Magentic Manifestations (talk) 16:18, 26 July 2024 (UTC)

Practice for withdrawal?

Hey what is the practice for when an athlete withdraws from an event? Mac Neil did withdraw from the 100m free but you reverted this and listed it as 'not constructive' so just trying to learn what the standard protocol is. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Idealichx (talkcontribs) 20:28, 30 July 2024 (UTC)

IP edits at Football at the 2024 Summer Olympics – Women's tournament – Group A

Given the IP's edit summary in their last one, I warned them on their talk page that they showed an intent to vandalize other articles and would be dealt with. AIV should be the next step if they revert or vandalize any other articles. — Jkudlick ⚓ (talk) 20:12, 7 August 2024 (UTC)

"Not constructive." Really?

I believe you were behind the bot that said the gold medal addition to Katie Vincent was "not constructive". Any particular solid reason why? (considering you seem to have kept my exact wording!) or did you just react to an IP? - Tenebris 66.11.165.110 (talk) 14:55, 10 August 2024 (UTC)

You left a bare url in the lead of an article. Do better. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 15:09, 10 August 2024 (UTC)
And you couldn't fix it as easily as reverting it? Cooperative much? - Tenebris 66.11.165.110 (talk) 15:16, 10 August 2024 (UTC)
