Speedy deletion nomination of File:Ruth Dyson.jpg

A tag has been placed on File:Ruth Dyson.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only," "non-derivative use" or "used with permission," it has not been shown to comply with the limited standards for the use of non-free content. [1], and it was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19, or is not used in any articles. If you agree with the deletion, there is no need to do anything. If, however, you believe that this image may be retained on Wikipedia under one of the permitted conditions then:

  • state clearly the source of the image. If it has been copied from elsewhere on the web you should provide links to: the image itself, the page which uses it and the page which contains the license conditions.
  • add the relevant copyright tag.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. tshiels1 (talk) 21:21, 28 September 2009 (UTC)

Your sandbox

Hello. I moved your sandbox out of the article namespace to your user page at User:Kiwiteen123/sandbox. Welcome back to Wikipedia :) De728631 (talk) 21:26, 28 September 2009 (UTC)

Life's what you make it.

Thanks for that, I will improve the overview section a bit later but your edit has made a vast improvement already! kiwiteen123 (talk) 22:32, 28 September 2009 (UTC)

No problem! There's another Wendy Moten album I'll be editing shortly if no one else gets there first. ;) Geach (talk) 22:40, 28 September 2009 (UTC)

Come sign my guestbook!

Come sign my guestbook! You would be about the 3rd person to do so.--Daniel L. Barth (talk) 01:04, 29 September 2009 (UTC)

Glad to help!

I'm annoyed by vandals as well; that's why I help to protect this site. I actually do use it as a reference. It's quick, easy and generally accurate for my needs. Idiots who come over just because they can write garbage don't last long. Thankfully.  :) Thanks for the nice note. I appreciate the acknowledgement. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 15:37, 29 September 2009 (UTC)

Thank you SO much!

I genuinely appreciate the Barnstar.  :)) --PMDrive1061 (talk) 01:53, 7 October 2009 (UTC)

Bless your heart...

Hi. I just found the note you left for that drooling idiot "HermanTime." It was a sockpuppet/meatpuppet of an ongoing spate of vandalism attributed to a vandal nicknamed the "Pee-Wee Herman Vandal." I was a whistleblower against these idiots when I decided to rejoin the project but before I got my admin privileges reinstated. So, I tend to be the occasional target of these jerks who, I believe, coordinate the attacks offsite. Anyway, if you see anything like that on my talk page again, just report it to WP:VIP. If I'm not online, another admin will take care of it. Thank you SO much for your concern. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 01:48, 9 October 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for the info!

Thanks... in my watchpage... i could not find out what it was without you! Thanks! DotHackFan - User - Creator 02:23, 9 October 2009 (UTC)

Rollback

I have granted rollback rights to your account; the reason for this is that after a review of some of your contributions, I believe you can be trusted to use rollback correctly, and for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck and thanks. decltype (talk) 07:41, 23 October 2009 (UTC)

Thank you very much! I will use it well! :) kiwiteen123 (talk) 07:43, 23 October 2009 (UTC)
I'm sure you will :) Have a nice day. Regards, decltype (talk) 07:45, 23 October 2009 (UTC)

New Zealand Labour Party GAN

Browsing the list of Good article nominations, I see that you've nominated New Zealand Labour Party. The nomination appears to be incomplete, as there's nothing on the talk page for it, but if you read the review page from the 2008 nom, it was quick-failed for lack of sources. Since nothing much has changed, I think that's likely to happen again. So if you've got references, you might want to add them ASAP (I suggest grabbing a copy of Barry Gustafason's Labour's path to Political Independence to start with...)

(Note that I'm not a reviewer of any sort - I just saw your nom and remembered my experience last year) --IdiotSavant (talk) 23:32, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

Sorry, I'm new to GAN, what is it that I need to write on the talk page? kiwiteen123 (talk) 07:48, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
According to the instructions, "add {{subst:GAN|subtopic=name of the subsection on this page where the article is listed}} to the top of the nominated article's talk page." I've just done it. It basically provides a link to a review page for whoever reviews the article.
I'm still new to GAN as well, and the bar seems to be quite high. The NZLP page is complete and covers its topic well, but apparently that's not quite good enough to b "good". --IdiotSavant (talk) 23:16, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
Thank you very much! I think it has been improved since last year as most of it is now sourced. It has been up for nearly a month now so hopefully we will get some good advice soon, kiwiteen123 (talk) 00:18, 26 October 2009 (UTC)

Hi Kiwiteen123, I've replied on my talk page. XLerate (talk) 09:46, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

Lars oops

Oops- turns out User:Theagnostic is NOT a vandal- check those diffs again, you were reverting vandalism that was in place before that user, who was also reverting some vandalism. You and I both got it wrong. Hopefully we didn't WP:BITE them too much. tedder (talk) 05:24, 26 October 2009 (UTC)

OOPS!!!! I must admit I was a bit confused in the end there... How did you find out? :) kiwiteen123 (talk) 05:26, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
I got an email from the blocked user- they should've done a {{unblock}} on the page, so I didn't respond to the email- but I did unblock them. No worries. I thought they were doing the vandalism too. Oh well. (no TB necessary, I stalk). tedder (talk) 05:28, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
Lol... You can never be sure! Thanks for your help!kiwiteen123 (talk) 05:30, 26 October 2009 (UTC)

Drop a nice note on his userpage suggesting he check the "remember me" box when s/he logs in (unless /she is at a public terminal?) :) -- Avi (talk) 05:36, 26 October 2009 (UTC)

CWU

Why did you revert my Changes to the CWU page, I am simply stating the truth? —Preceding unsigned comment added by CWUfail (talkcontribs) 05:30, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

Unfortunately no matter what YOU may think the comments are on wikipedia we have a thing called neutral point of view, also it is required that you respect people both on and off Wikipedia. Some manners may go along way. I hope this solves your problem! I look forward to reading your more productive edits. :) kiwiteen123 (talk) 05:36, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
