Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Huricane Enrique (1979). First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – 1979_Pacific_hurricane_season#Hurricane_Enrique. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at 1979_Pacific_hurricane_season#Hurricane_Enrique – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. JamesG5 (talk) 03:30, 23 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

I am new to Wikipedia

edit

I am only in middle school so i don,t know all about Wikipedia

That's OK! We were all new once.  :) I'm still learning all the time. It's always a good idea to do a careful search and make sure there isn't already a page or section on a topic before you start a new page. You can also always ask for help at the Teahouse, and a GREAT way to learn how to make an article is to try The Wikipedia Adventure, a fun game/tour of the site & how everything works. You can also go to Articles for Creation and use the process there so experienced editors can give you feedback on how to make your article better before it goes live. Shout on my Talk page if I can help. JamesG5 (talk) 03:50, 23 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at 1979 Pacific hurricane season, you may be blocked from editing. United States Man (talk) 03:21, 1 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

This is Star Trek's dad. Give him a break! Is is only 11 years old and autistic. Prove to me your proof of claim that he is vandalizing the website because you are using strong words that an 11 year old kid cannot comprehend. Please provide me the proper procedure on how to properly edit ones posting. Your prompt reply greatly appreciated. Thank you You hurt my feelings.

Hi! Sorry your son's having a hard time. I have Asperger's, and have 2 cousins who have severe autism so I sympathize. I made a lot of mistakes when I was learning here. Scroll up a bit to this section of the Talk page, I posted some links on how to learn & get started & avoid problems. I can also answer some questions, and your son can check in at the Teahouse for help, too.  :-) JamesG5 (talk) 03:37, 1 July 2016 (UTC) also even though i have autism it is mild so I can talk like a normal personReply
I admit that I used the wrong tag when I gave a vandalism warning, and I should have gone back and changed it. But, as a member of WP:WPTC, you have to understand that we hold it to a high standard, and I'm sorry, but editing such as this just doesn't make the cut. There are rules here, and no matter who you are, everyone has to follow them. United States Man (talk) 11:10, 1 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove a speedy deletion notice from a page you have created yourself. Sro23 (talk) 03:55, 1 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Sockpuppet investigation

edit

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Huricane2005dora, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community. Sro23 (talk) 17:41, 1 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
