Re: Bob Armstrong (disambiguation)
This page has three Bobs and a link to the page for Robert. The 'speedy deletion' was put on it as I was adding entries. Boleyn (talk) 13:15, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
- Hi! As the page now meets the Wikipedia guidelines, the AfD discussion should close soon, and the tag will be removed from the article. However, remember that removing the AfD tag from the article yourself will most likely be seen as a red flag. StaticGull Talk 13:25, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
Deleting Summer Athletics.
I dont know why you deleted my summer athletics article. I would like you to tell me exactly what was wrong with it. Thanks. Write Back Soon. SG.xO SG.xO (talk) 13:16, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
- Hi! The article was deleted per G11, as it consisted of an advertisement. If you would like to add an article about that subject to Wikipedia anyway, it would be useful to read WP:SPAMMER. WP:FIRST contains some good tips, too. StaticGull Talk 13:30, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
Diablo: The Hell page
Now what's wrong with that page, it's listed for deletion. The Hell Team mentioned in there will be working on it.
ATPoseidon (talk) 13:32, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
- Hi! I encourage you to discuss the deletion of the article here, as other editors will then also be able to respond to your comments. As for the "Hell Team" working on the page; that would pose a conflict of interests. Happy editing! StaticGull Talk 13:40, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
Hi
Cant we talk about a company and its purpose??
Why not??
I've seen many sites talkin about companies maybe i should re frame the content —Preceding unsigned comment added by Zoyid (talk • contribs) 12:32, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
- Hi! It's just fine to talk about a company and its purpose, as long as the article isn't an advertisement. However, that company has to be notable enough for inlcusion on Wikipedia, and it might be best to avoid creating the article yourself if that would pose a conflict of interests. WP:FIRST and WP:SPAMMER contain some good tips, too. Happy editing! StaticGull Talk 12:55, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
Le Huggle?
Why does Huggle create pages with French spelled months like this: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Log/2008 juli 28. I've seen it a few times. Has a bug report been submitted? –xeno (talk) 13:54, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
- Dutch, actually :-). This problem has been reported here and (I must have missed that one) here. I think I'll have to start nominating XfDs manually until 0.7.12 gets here. StaticGull Talk 12:04, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
- You didn't miss it, I fulfilled your speedy, but I was still curious. glad it's being looked at =) –xeno (talk) 12:47, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
- Hitting escape before Huggle creates the page isn't an option either, as Huggle simultaneously makes the AfD page too :-S. StaticGull Talk 12:52, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
- You didn't miss it, I fulfilled your speedy, but I was still curious. glad it's being looked at =) –xeno (talk) 12:47, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
Regarding Conflux
It is only an expansion set to Magic: The Gathering. However, traditionally on Wikipedia, every expansion set has occupied its own page, and each page has had a fair amount of quality. Thanks for your time. .seVer!Ty^- (talk) 13:09, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
- Wow, some of those are really quite extensive. Keep up the good work, then :-). StaticGull Talk 13:30, 30 July 2008 (UTC)

- That's fine :-). If you want to do a full-scale test, don't forget to pay a visit to the sandbox. StaticGull Talk 11:57, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
Question about the page I am editing
StaticGull,
Did you have a question about the page I am editing? I saw a notice that popped up saying that it was going to be deleted and I haven't finished editing it yet.
SharpsticksAccount (talk) 13:46, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
- Hi! It was just that the page was almost empty when I encountered it. The deletion tag has been removed now though, as you did a great job expanding the article. Keep up the good work, and happy editing! StaticGull Talk 13:42, 1 August 2008 (UTC)
WTF
dude what the fuck???? Jesseism is a true religion, im sorry to say but we have around 2 dozen people who will proudly admit that they are jessists, so i think its fair to say that this has a right to be on here —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jesseism (talk • contribs) 14:22, 2 August 2008
- Hi! If it is a real religion, the article will have to prove that the subject is notable enough for inclusion on Wikipedia. Merely having an X amount of supporters isn't a valid inclusion criterium. StaticGull Talk 13:34, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
Huggle feedback
Hi there. The issue you participated in here has been archived. The features requested were added to the most recent version of huggle released today. If you would like to query me about this please ask me on my talk page As I will not be watching this page. Thanks. ·Add§hore· Talk/Cont 15:09, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks! I've just downloaded it. StaticGull Talk 11:51, 3 August 2008 (UTC)
WISE - U-Man [1]
I don't agree with you on the deletion of what i wrote on the WISE page about U-Man, we have all rights to be there because we are the owners of a WISE-license, like the other entreprises in this article Marketing.antwerp (talk) 09:36, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
- Hi! Although you probably won't be able to reply to this, the rules about advertising on Wikipedia can be found here. And don't forget that other stuff exists. StaticGull Talk 12:24, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
I would like to contest the "final warning" you gave me
I feel that what I did was not vandalism, but merely suggesting keeping the article. Many people have made similar edits to articles I have contributed to without asking me. I was merely perpetuating an admittedly blunt Wikipedia tradition. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Njk (talk • contribs) 15:12, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
- Hi! Although you won't be able to respond to this, I'll make a short list below:
- Removing a speedy tag from a page that consists of patent nonsense is considered vandalism
- Don't game the system
- Don't make personal attacks by vandalising my user page or other Wikipedia pages
LAst c4
This is a very unique car with many distinct differences than all other C4 Corvettes. IT is not just the last car of a generation. IT has the last enigine it ever to be built in Flint Michigan. The car also contains signatures by every plant employee thar worked on this car. NOt only are these two featuers included, the car also has grandsport flares and grandsport stripes unlike any other "normal" C4 Corvette. Mid america1 (talk) 15:37, 8 August 2008 (UTC)

College of the North Atlantic
Hi, I work with the College of the North Atlantic and have been asked to edit the page. I have been given new information and have also been asked to make a new page for each campus with its own information and coordinates. Please let me do so as I am an emloyee of the organization.
ReaganCampbell (talk) 13:55, 11 August 2008 (UTC)R.Campbell
- Hi! That would cause a severe conflict of interests, violating the first fundamental Wikimedia principal. It might be better if you edited other articles to which you aren't directly affiliated. Happy editing! StaticGull Talk 14:03, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
Leave my pages alone - this contest is unwarranted
Please leave the pages for Sean James McCoy, N Star D Productions, or any further pages made by me alone. They provide unbiased information on subjects which currently have no information available. There is absolutely no reason to contest them. —Preceding unsigned comment added by James Mars (talk • contribs) 14:28, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
- Hi! Please keep in mind that the subjects of articles have to be notable enough for inclusion on Wikipedia. StaticGull Talk 14:36, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
Absurd
If I put references to 2-3 official websites for each one of these posts, will you leave me alone and stop bothering my pages? The information I am posting is NOT in wikipedia, it IS of interest (which is an EXTREMELY unverifiable term by you), and follows the rules of wikipedia posting.
I can and will reference links to multiple newspaper articles for each of my postings as well if need be.

- Hi! No matter how much documentation is given, if the subject fails to meet WP:NOTE guidelines, the article won't 'survive'. If you want to learn more about creating articles, WP:FIRST contains some good advice. Happy editing! StaticGull Talk 14:53, 12 August 2008 (UTC)

VANDALISM?
Explain this:
The recent edit you made to VIP Escapes constitutes vandalism, and has been reverted. Please do not continue to vandalize pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thank you. StaticGull Talk 14:28, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
and please check the definition of VANDALISM...

- Hi! The edit you are referring to was made on a page that was deleted. I can therefore not check what has happened. Happy editing! StaticGull Talk 14:57, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
