List of English words of Dravidian origin

edit

Hello, Sujaypatil96. You recently added a word to the List of English words of Dravidian origin, citing a question at Quora.com. As far as I can tell though the author Manju Yenilla claims no particular expertise in lexicography, beyond being a speaker of Kannada. Therefore, I removed your addition to the page. According to the Oxford English Dictionary, cement comes from Old French, and ultimately from Latin caementum "rough-hewn stone". Happy editing, Cnilep (talk) 01:50, 11 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
