Proposed deletion of Sukant Kadam

edit

The article Sukant Kadam has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Three of the four references are by the subject himself. The other is just a database entry at the BWF, showing activity in 2016 and 2017. I'm not familiar with what constitutes the "highest levels" per WP:NBAD, but general notability is certainly not demonstrated. I suggest draftifying and notifying the (autobiography) editor about notability requirements.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. —[AlanM1 (talk)]— 13:08, 2 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Sukant Kadam

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Sukant Kadam, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Nagar Krishna moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Nagar Krishna, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Krishna Nagar

edit

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Krishna Nagar. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you.

I have reverted your hijack of a disambiguation page at Krishna Nagar. If you wish to create a new article then you should use the AfC process (as I see you have done from your Talk page above) and not take over another valid page: this is actively harmful. Explanation of Krishna Nagar

edit

As the page I created is about Krishna Nagar Indian Para Badminton Player who is currently world number 2 in para-badminton[1]. I request you to keep the athlete and place in different page. It is just coincidence that there names are same. He has won medal in last year BWF Para-Badminton World Championships 2019 BWF Para-Badminton World Championships [2] also won 2 medals for India. No. If you want to create an article then choose a different title: perhaps Krishna Nagar (basketball). You have now blanked and overwritten Krishna Nagar three times: do not do it again. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 07:24, 26 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to change genres without discussion or sources, as you did at Pramod Bhagat, you may be blocked from editing. zoglophie 08:32, 3 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Zoglophie Requesting you to stop editing Pramod Bhagat. The information you are continuously changing is wrong and you are spreading wrong information.

Your recent editing history at Pramod Bhagat shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Hello Jauerback I have edited the information which is real. For your information people are started spreading wrong information about Pramod Bhagat as you can see on his passport the birth place of Pramod Bhagat is Attabira Odisha but few people have changed this information and spread wrong information about his birth place. He is Gold medalist from Paralympic Games and facing lot of problems due to this. IF you want I can provide you more details about his birth place. Sukant Kadam (talk) 16:42, 20 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

You were edit warring and instead of trying to reach a consensus on the talk page, you kept reverting to your preferred version. Also, it's quite obvious that you can't maintain a neutral point of view when editing that page and you have a clear conflict of interest as shown here, so I would suggest you find another article that interests you. Finally, please see WP:BLPPRIMARY about providing information (such as a copy of his passport). In short, stop doing that. If you can convince another admin to unblock you from editing Pramod Bhagat, feel free to try, but I won't. Jauerbackdude?/dude. 18:24, 20 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
