I don't really understand why you removed wikilinks from this page. However, several of your other edits are not acceptable. The article is about the journal, not about the people connected with it, so adding all kind of biographical info on them is inappropriate. Other stuff you added is just too promotional. Response to Crusio

I deleted wikilinks that were irrelevant to the article; for example, I deleted a link to "sex" in "Co-author sex." I don't see the point of linking every possible word to other articles, but if this is something you just have to do to promote wikipedia, ok. Also, I thought that a bit of biography about, now deceased, Janowitz would be important since his scholarship informed the philosophy and direction of the journal. Please identify which statements are too promotional so I will know which things to change. Generally, just be more specific with your criticism because I really don't see, at this point, how it is controversial at all, or how it demonstrated any bias.

First, I'd just like to express my emerging frustration with anonymous users, who do not disclose potential conflicts of interest among themselves, and their willingness to point out potential conflicts of interest among users who do identify themselves.

Right, well if you note other comments made in this page, you will see that Crusio has already posted the COI template above. I am aware of the COI policies. Next, it is pretty clear what I meant with my first comment: it is ironic for anonymous users to point out potential COIs among users who choose to voluntarily disclose their identities. No, I did not assert that you have a COI, but that it would be impossible to determine even if you actually did, given that you have not disclosed your identity along with any potential COIs.

Setting aside irony, anonymity, and conflicts of interest, why don't we just work together to make these articles good ones instead of hinting at the use of a voluntary disclosure of identity as a weapon? For example, I need help with the license of the picture on the Armed Forces & Society entry. I am not sure if what I used there is sufficient. Can you help me with that? Also, I am trying to make an entry, which I am working on in my user drafts, here where I have had the same problem.T.Whetsell (talk) 21:41, 18 May 2011 (UTC)

Good news

I noticed the little mess that you got yourself involved in, re: "John Allen Williams", and I've decided that you were right.

Not in how you went about it, mind you -- that, you did wrong. But you were right in your justification. So I replaced the redirect to the sniper with the article about the professor (something that admins can do but ordinary users can't).
