Tony Rabalao
editMembers of bands don't automatically get their own standalone Wikipedia articles as separate topics from the band. In order to qualify for that, he would have to be reliably sourced as having his own independent notability claim, such as passing WP:NMUSIC for solo activity or being notable in some other field -- for example, Tara Slone doesn't have her own article because Joydrop, she has her own article because she did other notable things on her own besides Joydrop, including competing in a television reality show, having acting roles and garnering a Canadian Screen Award nomination for her work as a television host. If she didn't have those other things under her belt, and instead all that we could actually write about her is "Tara Slone used to be a member of Joydrop, the end", then she wouldn't have her own article and would just be discussed in Joydrop's article.
As written, your draft article about Tony Rabalao does not establish a reason why he should have his own Wikipedia article, as it doesn't cite any sources to establish that he would pass any of our notability criteria as an individual. And even if I search ProQuest on his name, I'm not any finding sources that are about him for the purposes of establishing his notability -- I'm finding sources which mention his name in the process of being about Joydrop, which isn't the same thing. Again, the rule isn't "he's automatically entitled to get his own standalone article just because his name is present in another article" -- if you can't establish and properly source that he would pass a notability criterion as an individual, then his name being present in the other article is all he gets. License tagging for File:TonyRabalao.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:TonyRabalao.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 23:30, 13 July 2022 (UTC)

- Hi Tamar, by "record list" do you mean discography? A list like that is usually done by a wikitable. Take a look at these discography table samples and feel free to copy the layout for use in your article! If you have any other questions, reply to this comment. TGHL ↗ 🍁 19:25, 13 November 2022 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:TonyRabalao.jpg
editA tag has been placed on File:TonyRabalao.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement of https://www.lehlomusic.com. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. This is absolutely ridiculous.
But I am creating a page about Tony Rabalo along with him
. I also created his website for him , he owns the rights for that image and all other images on his website
. I don’t understand why somebody would think I am stealing his pictures.
Feel free to email him at tony@lehlomusic.com to clear this up.
if the person that tagged me would actually read the talk page , they would see I’ve been working on this page for the last three months.
I’ve been trying to create a page and asking for help and creating it !
thanks TamarToronto (talk) 03:56, 13 November 2022 (UTC)
- You must provide the licensing information for the image. It is not anyone else's job to chase it down for you. I would advise against publicly posting any email address, for security reasons. I'll add that images are not relevant to the draft approval process, which only considers the text and sources.
- Wikipedia does not have pages, it has articles. This is not semantics, there is a distinction there. If you received any form of compensation(not just money) from this person, the Terms of Use require you to make a formal paid editing disclosure. Either way, you need to also review conflict of interest. 331dot (talk) 07:25, 13 November 2022 (UTC)
Thank you for your input. I am trying to write an article I appreciate it. I am not getting any money whatsoever. I’m literally trying to help as you can see, I am definitely not a professional lol .
the email that I posted is part of his website so I don’t need anybody to chase me or him for that matter but I appreciate the response.
I will go and find the licensing. Thank you. TamarToronto (talk) 14:06, 13 November 2022 (UTC)
- So, just so I'm clear, you created a website for him and are making these edits for him for free? If so, okay, but you still should disclose a conflict of interest. 331dot (talk) 14:10, 13 November 2022 (UTC)
I did write that on my main page and on my talk page please let me know where else I should write it? Yes I’m just trying to help sometimes people are just nice lol thank you again I appreciate any feedback. TamarToronto (talk) 14:11, 13 November 2022 (UTC)
