Signature
editWould you please change your signature code? It's very hard to read the dark blue text on the black background, and uses a lot of code. — The Hand That Feeds You:Bite 22:27, 15 February 2011 (UTC)
- Your signature violates Wikipedia:SIG#Length. Please cut it to 255 characters of code at most. BencherliteTalk 23:20, 17 February 2011 (UTC)
- I would like to agree with the above - please cut down your signature. It takes up a lot of room in the edit window, in addition to the reasons mentioned above. TNXMan 19:11, 21 February 2011 (UTC)
- Does using {{User:TehMissingLink/sig}} ~~~~~ help? TehMissingLink Talk 19:15, 21 February 2011 (UTC)
- Well, no. First of all, the display still causes problems - it's too large. Secondly, transcluding templates for your signature is not allowed. TNXMan 19:19, 21 February 2011 (UTC)
- I'll keep it like this. TLM (talk) 19:20, 21 February 2011 (UTC)

Blocked users
editAdding this to the pages of users seeking unblocking is unhelpful to say the least. A blocked user may not realise that you have no power to grant or decline the unblock request, and so might take the message seriously. Adding it to the pages of blocked users who are not asking to be unblocked is (a) wrong, since if we wanted to thank them for their contributions, chances are they wouldn't be blocked; (b) pointless, because they're blocked and so might not see it and (c) provocative. Please don't use that template in future. Regards, BencherliteTalk 23:16, 17 February 2011 (UTC)
CSD
editI realize this is picky but a "daimon" is not a "real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content", so Thrasos does not qualify as an A7. However, the material is copied, so I'll delete it as a G12 --SPhilbrickT 01:13, 18 February 2011 (UTC)
Speedy deletion declined: Saqr bin zayed
editHello TehMissingLink, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Saqr bin zayed, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: I can't see how this is an attack page. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. SmartSE (talk) 20:49, 19 February 2011 (UTC)
Deleted Page/Warning
editWhy do I have a warning for no more page creations when this is my FIRST page created then deleted. I only have made two pages, the Habbo Hours page and another one for a school, which I blanked and requested to be deleted. Also how is the Habbo Hours page inappropriate, other than the fact that it made the criteria for speedy deletion.
Also are you even an admin, and have the rights to do that?
- All your created pages are inappropriate and I am allowed to warn you. TehMissingLink Talk 22:43, 19 February 2011 (UTC)
- Was it appropriate to write, "now fuck off", on my page? iSponges just made this page better! (talk) 15:54, 20 February 2011 (UTC)
- yes it was TehMissingLink Talk 16:05, 20 February 2011 (UTC)
- No, it wasn't appropriate at all. Telling someone to "fuck off" is considered uncivil and is not allowed anywhere on Wikipedia. I have removed your comment from Sponge's talk page. Please keep in mind that further uncivil remarks or personal attacks in the future can lead to blocks. ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 18:44, 20 February 2011 (UTC)

- Just to let you know, I removed your warning from ISponge's talk page as it was uncalled for. The page that they created about the school, I could not see anything really wrong with that page, many schools have pages on Wikipedia, I know both my schools do. The only thing wrong with the Habbo page is that it was written in a promotional tone, however because that was the first page created written in an inappropriate tone it did not warrant a level 4 warning. The user is still relatively new having made under 30 edits so your warning may have come across as a little bitey. Please bear this in mind in the future, any questions ask me on my talk page.--5 albert square (talk) 00:53, 21 February 2011 (UTC)
You're right about notability, but you can't use A7 for a building. I've changed it to a prod. As they've removed one CSD (albeit possibly for good reason...), this might go to AfD. Peridon (talk) 20:00, 21 February 2011 (UTC)
Speedy declined
editI have removed the speedy deletion tag you placed on Darni M Daud. As a university rector, he has a presumed notability that precludes a speedy deletion. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 13:38, 22 February 2011 (UTC)

editYou can't use A7 for software either, so I converted your multiple to a G11. --Pontificalibus (talk) 17:43, 22 February 2011 (UTC)

WILD Wrestling
editThanks for helping to get rid of useless pages! Unfortunately, I've had to decline your deletion request at WILD Wrestling — you tagged it for deletion as gibberish, but the criterion you used is only for pages whose contents are something like "bfishyugbdibriygvbiyrvbguor", not pages like this one that have understandable, reasonable text. You could try taking it to WP:AFD; if you have any questions about the process, just leave me a note at my talk page, and I'll try to help you. Nyttend (talk) 21:14, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
Your AIV report of Tsuchiya Hikaru
editSuggestion: try to be more friendly to users, and consider starting a polite conversation instead of sending templated warnings and reporting them to WP:AIV with the message "I don't like this user". Cheers. Materialscientist (talk) 14:36, 16 April 2011 (UTC)
Question about a warning you left
editHi,
You left a final warning for vandalism on a user's page that I came across. I don't understand how this was vandalism. Could you please clarify? Vandalism requires intent to disrupt, which I do not see clearly established there. Thanks. Philippe Beaudette, Wikimedia Foundation (talk) 19:24, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
