Explanation - why Global Data Intelligence Limited article should not be deleted
Tera Thank you for your article review for Global Data Intelligence Limited. I appreciate your time and suggestions. For a few months I edit articles on Wikipedia, have got some experience by now, I also want to create articles about persons/companies and so on, bringing value and positive impact to Wikipedia. At the same time, I'm an AIESEC volunteer, and for me is important to help others. Analyzing many companies, I've observed that many deserve to have a Wikipedia page, that's why I created the [[:Global Data Intelligence Limited] article. Look at similar businesses as LeadGenius, InsideView,ZoomInfo, these also have homogeneous context. Moreover, Global Data Intelligence Limited is a strong competitor of these companies. It takes a lot of time to create the correct description and find referral links. Hope you understand me, remember when you've started your experience on Wikipedia. Thank you in advance. Best regards!
- Hello @Trymemore: I appreciate that you have worked hard on this article. I too create many articles on Wikipedia, so I understand the time and effort it takes to write up a comprehensive and well-referenced page, and how having someone interrupt this process can be frustrating.
- All subjects on Wikipedia must meet some type of notability criterion. This usually requires in-depth, non-routine coverage in several independent, reliable sources. The criterion for companies is particularly strict because the usual guidelines tend to be abused by editors associated with a company to ensure their article is retained. Companies' articles also often face attempts to transform them into covert advertisements. The result is that it is very risky to start a new page about a company on Wikipedia unless you are absolutely sure it passes these guidelines – the articles face more intense scrutiny and are deleted quickly if they do not comply with the notability guidelines.
- As it currently stands, Global Data Intelligence Limited does not cite any independent, reliable sources with significant, in-depth coverage. (As part of my usual check for sources, I have completed an in-depth Google search, including Google Books and Google News and found no satisfactory sources). As such, I have nominated it for deletion. The nomination page is Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Global Data Intelligence Limited. The discussion will be open until a consensus among editors has been reached on the article's notability. You are free to contribute to this discussion, but please base your arguments in Wikipedia policies and guidelines, preferably by providing sources that show the company is notable. Additionally, consider reading Arguments to avoid in deletion discussions to familiarise yourself with what type of reasoning is considered acceptable and unacceptable. For example, the existence of articles on similar businesses does not imply that all businesses of a type are notable (Other stuff exists). – Teratix ₵ 10:43, 24 April 2019 (UTC)
Dear Tera Again, a big thank you for the answer, it's useful and more understandable. I moved this article in Draft:Global_Data_Intelligence_Limited, I do not know how correct it is, but I want to improve this, because of its creation needed so much time, you know. I want to make deeper research, thus improving and find new valuable sources. I would be glad to discuss more detailed related to this situation. Best regards! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Trymemore (talk • contribs) 11:47, 24 April 2019 (UTC)
