References
editFollowing your question at the help desk, it looks as if in some of your subsequent edits you have made similar errors, & some new ones. Let me take one example:
<ref name=IDF> Tuberculosis {{cite web|title=|url=http:http://www.patient.co.uk/doctor/tuberculosis</ref>
- You have {{ at the start of the cite but no }} at the end
- You have "http:http://"
- You have used a name "IDF" for the reference, but that same name "IDF" has already been used for a different reference. The naming of references is for cases where you want to define a reference once but then use the same reference in a number of other places.
- You also have text between the <ref> tag and the opening of the {{cite web|... template.
- You have not filled in a title, nor other parameters such as accessdate, publisher, and perhaps work.
I would recommend that you take the advice of the editor who replied at the help desk, and use the cite button on the edit toolbar to help you to get the syntax right. I would also recommend that you read WP:referencing for beginners. - David Biddulph (talk)
