Renaming article

edit

You asked how to rename an article:

Move the article (button at top of the article) (defualt is move talk page too, you want this). This will leave a redirect at the old spelling pointing to the new. If the old spelling is a common misspelling then leave it, otherwise you can submit it to redirects for deletion.RJFJR 16:57, Mar 24, 2005 (UTC)

Replacing 13pd.jpg

edit

Hi, I've replaced Image:13pd.jpg with Image:13th Panzer Division logo.svg, which is vector-based and so avoids artifacts and scales better. I've listed the original image for deletion - I hope this is an improvement. Deco 19:53, 31 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading Image:Baeke 187.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you. SteinbDJ 18:45, 1 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Untagged image

edit

An image you uploaded, Image:Escudolugo.gif, was tagged with the {{coatofarms}} copyright tag. This tag was deleted because it does not actually specify the copyright status of the image. The image may need a more accurate copyright tag, or it may need to be deleted. If the image portrays a seal or emblem, it should be tagged as {{seal}}. If you have any questions, ask them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. -- 01:01, 30 December 2006 (UTC)
