Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Confederations Cup host indicator

edit

Hi, I undid your edits to add indicators to the host team at each Confederations Cup. I did this because I believe it is pretty obvious who the host nation was from the context of the article. It's usually mentioned several times at the top of the page which nation is hosting, so adding a little "H" to the host team in the group tables seems a little excessive. – PeeJay 09:48, 25 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Just to let you know, per WP:SIGIMAGE, images are not permitted in signatures for various reasons. Emoji are fine, so I'd recommend you'd swap it out for something more compliant. Thanks! Nihlus 18:31, 5 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Rollback granted

edit

Hi UltraBlazer. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! Salvio Let's talk about it! 18:13, 23 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Where on earth did you get that, he's currently the third best player in the world, might be second since Ronaldo is slowly declining now. UltraBlazer 18:41, 6 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Competition templates format

edit

Could you tell me what are you reverting all of my edits on Template:Copa América Champions as well other competitions table format (such as "Africa Cup")?. What are you based on to do it? As far as I'm concerned, my edits have not been disruptive, on the contrary, I added some information and ordered other elements to make the tables easier to read, p.e. adding sortable paramethers or notes about the final matches. Moreover, before editing the tables, I searched some references on Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Competitions and none of my changes seems to be wrong.

I'm really tired of your reversions with no edit summaries to explain WHY you act that way. If you disagree with the changes, you could start a discussion on the template talk page and we'll debate the topic. But reverting (with no further explanation) time and again is unacceptable.
