OK, the admins are aware of the situation. Under policy, you should be blocked either as a returning vandal or a copycat using the "Hollaback Girl" name. Just be aware of the fact that if you vandalize anything, all bets are off. You'll likely be banned from the site, which means there is almost no way of reestablishing your rights. um i don't know how to explain this properly but i am using a recent changes filter and sometimes there are more than 1 vandalisms and when i try and undo the second one it says there has been an edit conflict or something.The Nice Hollaback Girl (talk) 06:55, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

You'll sometimes get an edit conflict if you hit the "save page" button twice. You're conflicting with your own edit when that happens. When you're starting out, I'd suggest staying away from patrolling for vandals. Instead, find an article on a subject which interests you and dig in. Hello...

Hello 'The Nice Hollaback Girl', how are you? I'm writing you this in regards to the recent edits I made on the gwen stefani song articles. The edits made yesterday were in fact not physically by me, but by my sister who got onto my wikipedia account after I failed to log off yesterday. I (the REAL Percxyz) did not make those edits, nor would I have requested speedy deletion on all 4 articles at once (I would have discussed the issue first hand with you first before doing so, which is common sense after all, lol!) I'm just letting you know this so that you don't think that I (the REAL Percxyz) did that (and to let you know that I'm totally not out to get you!!!) and I don't want you to feel like I am. :-( Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you, and I'll make sure my sister gets her own account instead of using mine, lol! :-) (By the way, ironically enough I'm also a big gwen stefani fan myself!)

Okay. No prob. All you do is copy the URL of the website page you are using (make sure to highlight and copy it, rather than type it, because you need to include the http://). After that, go to the place in the article where you want to place the footnote in the article. Paste the URL in there, then place two ref html tags around it. Here is an example: If I wanted to cite http://google.com/Special/Extraspecial.html, this is what I would do: Here's how it would look in the article: Google has a special page[1], named Special.

One other thing...

If you want it to show up at the bottom in the references section and there is none, simply type ==References== and then include the text

below it, like this: ==References==

I saw your note on my user page, so I figured we could get started. Also, Muslim Hybrid told me on my page that he was semi-retiring, so he isn't going to be unavailable.

First things first, in order to look "professional", (I know, it's stupid) I would encourage you to remove the DO NOT BLOCK ME I WANT TO START ANEW from the top of you talk page and user page, since you've long since shown that you have made a comeback and some people don't remember you under your old name.

Did you see Muslim Hybrid's signature suggestion? If you didn't, all you have to do is copy it again, then before you save, check the box below the signature formatting line that says "Raw Signature".

The first lesson in my adoption program is here. To answer the questions, simply go here and create a new section in that page and answer the questions under that section. The central adoption page is User:Jock Boy/Classroom, and if you need a link to your personal page, I have one for each of my adoptees there. Some of the lessons are long, but if you go through and are able to answer well, you'll do even better than you are now.

To give you good news, you are a very friendly user, and that will definitely help you out, I guarantee it. Keep up the good work!

Your questions...

Hi there! Okay, I understand that you don't really know what to write about, and that's fine. Just go ahead and make up something, but try to make it sound encyclopedic. If you need an idea, write a brief article about a fictional medicine or something (make sure not to REALLY create it, just create a new section under your User adoption subpage in my classroom).

To answer you second question, if a vandal makes more than one vandalism edit... for now, just let me know and I'll do it for you if no one else does before me, because it's kind of complicated. If you really want to know, you could read this lesson, but you don't have to do the assignment yet.

And lastly, your question about pages being neat... it takes a lot of code, a lot of time, and a lot of practice, OR you can do what I did and copy the code from another user's page and then change links to link to your page and change colors to your likings and whatnot. If you would like, I would be willing to create a userspace for you, but you would have to tell me your color choice and especially what information you wanted on your main userpage, but I would encourage not giving away any personal information.

Again, about the lesson, just give it your best shot, and even if you do terrible, so what? It's not like it hurts anything or that you can't pass the course, it's just to help you. Don't get too worried or put too much time into it.
