WikiProject Involvement Opportunity

edit

Hi again. Philvarner and I have various thoughts on how to restructure the entire mixed drinks and bartending section of Wikipedia, and that also squarely ties in with WikiBooks. Some of these are pretty sweeping changes. Given your apparent interest in articles within this field, I thought you might be interested, and I would value your opinions.

I realize that you may feel a bit intimidated or shy about diving into the middle of such important discussions. You might even feel that you are too new to make any decisions. Don't believe that for a moment. You have a brain (and a pretty good one based on your editing skills), and you have ideas, and you should have no fear expressing them among friends. And I, for one, am your friend there. So please speak up. Don't be shy.

Please visit the Restructure Section to read, discuss, and hopefully help plan these important changes. Thank you. --Willscrlt (Talk·Cntrb) 12:33, 11 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Rating the ToK

Hi. I'm trying to get members of the Psychology Project to get together and rate the both the quality and importance of the Tree of Knowledge System. Hope you're interested. Have a great day! EPM 22:05, 17 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hello again

edit

Sorry. I didn't mean to ignore you. I've just been sort-of computerless for the past week. Now I am heading out of town to visit relatives, and then I have to get caught up on all the work that has backlogged. Mainly I just wanted to tell you not to feel guilty about not helping with the WikiProject, and to just help as and when you can. As you can see, we all have life come up. :-) Take care. --Willscrlt (Talk) 07:03, 19 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

whiskey vs. whisky

edit

The most common convention now is: whisky in Scotland and Canada, whiskey in Ireland and US. See [www.thebar.com] —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Philvarner (talkcontribs) 22:44, 21 February 2007 (UTC).Reply

Whoops

edit

Sorry about that, but I messed up the above coding. Anyway, just click edit this page above and copy what I typed in between CODE STARTS HERE and CODE ENDS HERE, because I can't display the whole text here without going through a long, boring process.... The rules

edit

The rules are not hard or fast. Something may be archived after two weeks if it is seen that things are slowing down. I would appreciate it that after we worked with you to get your design approved you don't kick the ladder of those that follow. --evrik (talk) 17:47, 28 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! HagermanBot 10:34, 2 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Since it's a combination of Image:Red star.svg and Image:Flag of California.svg it should be no problem. Just use an program like Inkscape or Sodipodi to edit the file. // Liftarn

Hi there!

I just dropped by your talk page to let you know that I'm still alive and well. I also wanted to thank you for the greeting on my talk page. I'm sorry to see you are no longer editing. License tagging for File:EEG cap.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:EEG cap.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 02:05, 5 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

File:EEG cap.jpg

edit

Please provide the source for this image. This is an image of a medical procedure and unless sourced must be assumed to be a private image and possibly, within the United States, a HIPAA violation. This page was recommended for my consideration following a visual recognition of the patient in question. While this is by no means a definitive method of sourcing, I share the viewer's concern. Until the source can be identified, I will assume good faith. Schz (talk) 21:44, 27 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

edit

Thank you for uploading File:EEG cap.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 19:11, 12 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of File:MyersTwo copy.jpg

edit

The file File:MyersTwo copy.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

orphaned image, no encyclopedic use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 20 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
