Timeroot
Wedge
editHi. I just wanted to clear up your edit of the Prismatoid article. I couldn't visualize what you've described as "the second plane contains two more points" (than the first one, i suppose). Would you please show me some site where this is explained in a bit more detail? Thank you. - Jokes Free4Me (talk) 19:14, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
Stellations of dodecahedron
editHello. I converted the zeroth stellation (lower left image) at Dodecahedron#Stellations from PNG and loaded an SVG at commons. I thought it was a good idea to do the same with the first and second (lower centre), but on editing the article to use them I see you have already produced SVG images at en:WP which are being used in preference. The third stellation (lower right) already has an SVG at commons and does not need attention.
For consistency, would you mind if we use the commons versions for all four images, for consistency? Unfortunately this may involve nominating your perfectly good images for deletion. Do you have a better alternative based on expanding the collection you produced?
Thanks, Certes (talk) 14:51, 7 June 2009 (UTC)

- Thanks for the very helpful and selfless attitude. I've marked File:First stellation of dodecahedron facets.svg and File:Second stellation of dodecahedron facets.svg as superseded by Commons. Certes (talk) 21:25, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
Inverse trigonometric Formulas
editWay back on 8 June 2009 you posted a query at Talk:List_of_trigonometric_identities#More_Inverse_Formulas. It was a long time ago, and you may no longer be interested, but I thought I would let you know anyway that I have now given a more definite answer than was given at the time. Disambiguation link notification for April 12
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Klein–Nishina formula, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Cross section (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

edit"mpact"
editHello, i wanted to ask if you have any source for the use of "mpact" for cocompact (in cocompact group action), or significant references that use this pun? (given the state it's been in for so long I want to redirect the page to the page on group actions and likely suppress this in the process, unless it can be shown to be notable).
