Singularity rename
editHi, I added a section to the talk page for Singularity (software) addressing what I think was the incorrect decision to abandon renaming the page to Apptainer. I’d appreciate if you took a look and left your thoughts. Isaac rowe1 (talk) 18:39, 1 March 2022 (UTC)
- Hi, @Isaac rowe1! I closed the requested move because I noticed that the proposer withdrew it. I am not familiar with the software, and don't have an opinion on what the article should be titled. Tol (talk | contribs) @ 20:28, 1 March 2022 (UTC)
DYK for Squatina mapama
editOn 2 March 2022, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Squatina mapama, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Squatina mapama was named after Spain's Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and Environment? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Squatina mapama. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Squatina mapama), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Barry Smolin
editHe no longer is on the air at KPFK FM. 137.25.45.85 (talk) 16:05, 14 March 2022 (UTC)
- I'm not familiar with Barry Smolin, and have only made one small edit to that article — this one. You can edit the page yourself to add that information, if you wish. Please support that statement with a citation to a reliable source. Tol (talk | contribs) @ 16:12, 14 March 2022 (UTC)
Another job for TolBot 13
editTol, we have a request for an extension of the tennis downcasing moves that TolBot 13A did; see list at User:Letcord/sandbox/TennisRedirects and discussion at WT:WikiProject Tennis#Cleanup edits. These are all redirects, so moving them will make double redirects, which I presume will be fixed automatically. Alternatively, we could just create new redirects. You want to handle? Dicklyon (talk) 02:22, 15 March 2022 (UTC)
- @Dicklyon: I think just creating new redirects would be preferable. I could create redirects from the redlinks to the "redirect to" links; would this work? Tol (talk | contribs) @ 15:35, 16 March 2022 (UTC)
- Yes, that would work fine. The old ones could be marked as miscapitalizations, or as not printworthy, but those are maybe unimportant. Dicklyon (talk) 16:22, 16 March 2022 (UTC)
- Yes? Dicklyon (talk) 15:46, 18 March 2022 (UTC)
- Dicklyon, sorry, I thought I'd already replied! That sounds fine; I should have the script set up by Monday. I'm making changes to the script so that it's more configurable; at this point I think I might be trying to turn it into a sort of AWB/bot framework hybrid. Tol (talk | contribs) @ 16:59, 18 March 2022 (UTC)
- Can you start the approval request, or does the script have to be ready first? Dicklyon (talk) 17:25, 18 March 2022 (UTC)

Hi there! I have my article in Draft as I have made changes and I am wondering how I might get it published. Are you able to assist please? --Bodiwiki (talk) 00:44, 25 March 2022 (UTC)
- (talk page watcher) Hi @Bodiwiki! When you are finished, you can submit your article for review by clicking the button "Submit for review". If you don't see this button, you can add the code
{{subst:submit}}
to the top of your draft (remember to switch to the source editor first). If you see a yellow box saying "Review waiting, please be patient", you have successfully submitted your draft for review. If you don't see this box, you can ask for help at the Articles for Creation help desk. Please note that getting a review can take several weeks, but that your draft will be reviewed eventually. Attempting to bypass the process by moving the page, or cutting and pasting it into a new mainspace article, may lead to the page being moved back into draftspace again, speedy-deleted or listed for AFD, and repeated attempts may even lead to you being temporarily or permanently blocked from editing Wikipedia due to disruption. In the meantime, we hope that you expand some of our already existing articles. Cheers! 🐶 EpicPupper (he/him | talk) 01:05, 25 March 2022 (UTC)
