This article is well-written and formatted, but the subject matter probably doesn't fall under the purview of an encyclopedia (see the "original thought" section of [{WP:NOT]]). As such, I have nominated the article for deletion on WP:AFD. I mention this so that you may offer a defense of the article, if you are so inclined.
I hope that you remain involved within the project, despite this. You plainly could be an asset as a contributor to other topics. -Colin Kimbrell 20:25, 10 January 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for the heads-up; I've posted in the AFD thread stating why I believe it's a relevant article. Torak 00:04, 11 January 2006 (UTC)
Macbeth
editI have reverted your addition re Wyrd Sisters from Macbeth because it has been there for months if not years - look in the earlier section Literary versions. --ColinFine 23:03, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
Whoops - I should have spotted that. Thanks for the fix! Torak 07:54, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Vektor (thrash metal band), and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Vektor. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 17:24, 12 June 2010 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for September 6
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Durban street circuit, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Top Gear (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:32, 6 September 2013 (UTC)

DGG ( talk ) 09:59, 11 March 2020 (UTC)File permission problem with File:Kowtowingtoady.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Kowtowingtoady.jpg, which you've attributed to Andrew Perry. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{permission pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. Here is a list of your uploads. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 10:28, 9 April 2023 (UTC)
- @Minorax Oh wow, that's a blast from the past. Yes, I made the image, but the page for which it was relevant disappeared a decade or more ago. I'll just pop over and delete it. :-) Torak (talk) 11:43, 9 April 2023 (UTC)
