Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 05:08, 27 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Italians of Ethiopia, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Fascist Italy. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:02, 27 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hello! Thanks so much for the message. I actually tried to link to ANOTHER wikipedia page on Fascist Italy, specifically this link here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fascism#World_War_II_.281939-1945.29 Unfortunately there has been an editor who has been picking on my posts and that is probably where things got left. I think Fascism and Fascist Italy is a common enough concept that it doesn't necessarily need to be cited/linked from that page, so I don't mind taking the link off altogether. Please let me know your thoughts here. (talk) 17:36, 27 March 2015 (UTC)

Regarding your arbitration request

edit

I think the matter you raise here would probably be more likely to get a positive result if you instead made the comment at WP:ANI. You might also want to present a bit more information than you did in the section linked to above. John Carter (talk) 16:28, 31 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thank you so much. This is the first time I have experienced this so I'm a bit at a loss and had no idea how much or little to include in the initial request. I will do as you advised; much appreciated.Trinacrialucente (talk) 16:30, 31 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
I have removed your incomplete case request. Cases involve months of deliberation, require that evidence be presented and, most importantly, it must be demonstrated that other avenues of dispute resolution have been attempted. Also, there is currently a discussion on the same issue occurring at ANI and that takes precedence. Liz Read! Talk! 23:46, 31 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Racial segregation

I can't respond to your comment at Talk:Racial segregation because the page has been semi-protected, but to answer your question: start an RfC. Hopefully, it will attract some previously uninvolved editors to evaluate the sources and make comments from new perspectives. Good luck. 2601:14C:0:F6E9:71B2:6F01:9EB8:B237 (talk) 03:00, 28 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

As an editor concerned in this dispute, you are invited to participate in the mediation. Because requests must be responded to by the Mediation Committee within seven days, please respond to the request by 15 January 2016.

Hounding

edit

I think you are being hounded again. See Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard#Community_ban_for_Trinacrialucente. Biscuittin (talk) 20:01, 29 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

@Biscuittin: Thanks so much for looking out for me. And yes, clearly it is WP:HOUNDING and WP:BOOMERANG, but as you can see from the response to the anonymous troll (see: sockpuppet) isn't being taken seriously, so all good. But once again, much appreciated. Trinacrialucente (talk) 21:54, 29 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. I've had quite a lot of hounding myself recently. Biscuittin (talk) 21:59, 29 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

I'm not hounding. If you want me to, I can take the post down. 96.237.18.103 (talk) 23:03, 29 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
How about you just stop bothering everyone with your petty, disruptive behavior and act like a mature adult? Unfortunately Wikipedia is open to anyone with an internet connection, but I for one am tired of people like you who spend more time bothering/disrupting others than actually trying to make articles better. Is that clear enough?Trinacrialucente (talk) 23:07, 29 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Geez. I was busy getting rid of vandalism when I found your post. "open to anyone with an internet connection" in that meaning is a borderline attack. 96.237.18.103 (talk) 13:18, 30 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Also, you could have fixed that POV by removing the last sentence and not removing it all with this edit summary. 96.237.18.103 (talk) 13:23, 30 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
You have broken so many Wikipedia rules here I seriously do not know where to start, but in WP:GOODFAITH I will assume you are simply uninformed as opposed to a WP:SOCKPUPPET. First, you NEVER revert or delete another Wikipedia members Talk page...EVER [[1]]. Second, you do NOT discuss articles on user talk pages as you did above; you discuss them on the ARTICLE'S talk page so that other editor's get the benefit of the discussion. Lastly, your behavior to date makes me think you are a very lonely, immature and immoral individual; for those reasons I do >NOT care about your personal opinions nor do I want to have any private discussions with you on my talk page. I deal in facts and evidence; if you have something meaningful to contribute on any topic we both happen to be editing, then that's where we will interact. To that end, I will need to post a formal warning on your page to stop WP:HOUNDING; do not mistake that for a desire to continue any sort of conversation with you, it is merely a formal step in a process I must take given your behavior (the next step is the WP:ANI...and I assure you, you will not at all look good there and will most likely get a block, as you recently experienced). I hope for your sake this is clear enough, if not you risk your ability to further edit on Wikipedia.Trinacrialucente (talk) 01:34, 31 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

...at the ANI thread that was just closed: why don't you lay off Freeatlastchitchat for a while? Surely there are other places on Wikipedia where you can put your talents to use. Drmies (talk) 03:50, 7 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Maybe you didn't read the ANI so well, but I'm not the one following HIM. He has been the one following ME/reverting MY edits on articles HE has never edited before. I understand being unbiased is SUCH hard work. Maybe you'll get conscience one of these days and it might help you do the right thing.Trinacrialucente (talk) 03:54, 7 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
Has anybody ever told you you have terrible manners? We really shouldn't let teenagers edit this joint. Drmies (talk) 16:12, 7 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Drmies is very experienced here and has given you some good advice. It would serve you far more to listen to what they are saying instead of accusing them of some sort of bias, or lacking a conscience. People are trying to help you and you are attacking them. HighInBC 16:56, 7 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Everything you need to know about this editor's point of view is on their user page, HighInBC. Trinacrialucente, at this point, you need allies, not enemies. Insulting or accusing people doesn't help with this process. Liz Read! Talk! 17:13, 7 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
@Liz: that is the most ridiculous thing I have heard here on Wikipedia, but in essence it does confirm what I've suspected. I'm not looking for "allies", unless by "allies" you mean people looking to create the most effective and accurate article. But yes, "allies" does connote the very political and cliquish nature of this organization, which fosters an environment wherein admins care more about the sycophants who suck up to them than the truth. Well done...you really put it out there. And for your info, @Drmies: while I do look young for my age, I probably have more degrees than you will ever accumulate in 2 lifetimes (despite the "dr" in your profile). So, I'll take your ad hominem "teenage" comment as you subtly recognizing and complimenting my high libido and magnetism.Trinacrialucente (talk) 19:47, 7 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Request for mediation accepted

edit
The request for formal mediation of the dispute concerning Muhammad selling slaves, in which you were listed as a party, has been accepted by the Mediation Committee. The case will be assigned to an active mediator within two weeks, and mediation proceedings should begin shortly thereafter. Proceedings will begin at the case information page, Wikipedia:Requests for mediation/Muhammad selling slaves, so please add this to your watchlist. Formal mediation is governed by the Mediation Committee and its Policy. The Policy, and especially the first two sections of the "Mediation" section, should be read if you have never participated in formal mediation. For a short guide to accepted cases, see the "Accepted requests" section of the Guide to formal mediation. You may also want to familiarise yourself with the internal Procedures of the Committee.

As mediation proceedings begin, be aware that formal mediation can only be successful if every participant approaches discussion in a professional and civil way, and is completely prepared to compromise. Please contact the Committee if anything is unclear.

Based on evidence of persistent incivility made brought up in this ANI thread, and for this, I've blocked you for two weeks. Your last block was for personal attacks, as is this one. If you think there are ways you can prevent this kind of behavior in the future, I encourage you to make an unblock request explaining how using {{unblock|your reason here}}. Block upgraded to indefinite

edit

Due to the consensus here that you are not interested in tempering your behavior to a more collegial manner, you have been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia. An indefinite block is not infinite, if you can establish to the community that you intend to work well with others, even those with whom you disagree, you may be unblocked. --Jayron32 00:48, 19 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
