Re: Mikael Silvestre

Just because Silvestre has never performed particularly well for France and hasn't been selected for the last couple of years doesn't mean his international career is over. You can quote all the articles and studies you want, but it doesn't add up to a hill of beans if Silvestre hasn't actually declared himself ineligible for national selection. – PeeJay 23:10, 23 May 2010 (UTC)

That is, of course, just your opinion. You may not know this, but here at Wikipedia we have a policy of verifiability. If you cannot verify a fact, you cannot add it to an article. Since there has been no indication that Silvestre will never be selected again (and the fact that he hasn't been selected for a couple of years is not an indication of that, as past experience cannot prove the future), we cannot say for certain that his international career is over. – PeeJay 23:38, 23 May 2010 (UTC)

Who ever said that those players were still on the French national team? All I'm saying is that their international careers are not over. Any one of those players could be selected for the World Cup side tomorrow. – PeeJay 00:19, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
