Template messages

edit

Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. – Aranya (talk) 18:52, 9 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Aranya thank you! I am looking through the table at "Template messages/User talk namespace" and almost everything I can think of is there. I see you leave a "(TW)" in your edit summaries, is Wikipedia:Twinkle worth the installation?--Twilight Tinker (talk) 18:56, 9 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
Twinkle makes doing things like warning and reporting users easier, and it automates a lot of these functions in an easy-to-use interface. I think its definitely worth installing just for the time it saves. I see that you've already done a lot of anti-vandalism work recently, so keep up the great work with that. Please let if you have anymore questions, and I'll be happy to answer them. Happy editing!  Aranya (talk) 19:53, 9 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, I will try it out!--Twilight Tinker (talk) 19:54, 9 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message

edit
Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 03:03, 24 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
