  • Xaosflux, RoySmith and Cyberpower678 have been appointed to the Electoral Commission for the 2023 Arbitration Committee Elections. BusterD is the reserve commissioner.

  • Following a motion, remedies 3.1 (All related articles under 1RR whenever the dispute over naming is concerned), 6 (Stalemate resolution) and 30 (Administrative supervision) of the Macedonia 2 case have been rescinded.
  • Following a motion, remedy 6 (One-revert rule) of the The Troubles case has been amended.
  • An arbitration case named Industrial agriculture has been opened. Evidence submissions in this case close 8 November.

Your recent revert on EFFPR

You have reverted what appears to be this false positive report; typically, you should probably leave it alone to let a user respond to it, unless if that vandal you reverted adds vandalism to that report, or blanks/vandalizes EFFPR. Thanks. — 64andtim (chatsee here) 00:09, 21 November 2023 (UTC)

@64andtim: The section header of the report literally had "nigro" in it. Obvious vandals creating frivolous reports need to be reverted per WP:DENY and I will continue to do so. Uhai (talk) 00:14, 21 November 2023 (UTC)
Per "reverted adds vandalism to that report", I guess that counts as a good idea to revert. I left you a note above that if that blocked user's report do not contain any vandalism at all, probably leaving it as is will work. — 64andtim (chatsee here) 00:17, 21 November 2023 (UTC)

Tagging pages for AFD deletion discussions

Hello, Uhai,

I noticed that for AFDs for Anarchic Adjustment and Nick Philip, you didn't post notifications on the User talk page of the article creators. I hope that this was only because those editors have been inactive for a long time and that this isn't a regular habit. I note that you do post notifications for CSD speedy deletion taggings, which is great, but it couldn't hurt to just post these deletion tagging notices for AFDs even if the editor is long gone. Thank you for all of your contributions to the project. Liz Read! Talk! 00:14, 23 November 2023 (UTC)

Hi Liz, you are correct that I chose not to do so in this case because of the editors' inactivity, however I have notified for nominations in the past and will now make sure I do so regardless of inactivity. Thanks. Uhai (talk) 03:50, 23 November 2023 (UTC)

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:31, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
