EG player notability
Do you really think Marn and Floe are that notable? You could make a case for Marn, considering his brief venture into League of Legends, but Floe? Yeah, he's a top Soulcalibur player but that doesn't necessarily make him notable. Remember that fighting games is still a relatively niche scene, and what makes people famous within the scene doesn't mean they're famous people in general. This should help
javascript:(function(){var d=document,s=d.createElement('script');s.src='//en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:V111P/js/webRef.js&action=raw&ctype=text/javascript&smaxage=43200&maxage=86400';d.body.appendChild(s);})();
Copy paste the source code into the Javascript console Ctrl+Shift+J on Google Chrome. Press enter and it will auto fill citations for you.
It allows for you to created a MoS formatted citation easily you normally only have to add author and date of article written. For example this second source on Capcom Cup would looks like this:
<ref name="shor_Capc">{{Cite web | title = Capcom Announces Capcom Cup at Evo Panel; Eight Best AE 2012 and UMvC3 Players, Evo 2013 to Act as First Qualifier | author = | work = Shoryuken | date = | accessdate = 2015-01-29 | url = http://shoryuken.com/2013/07/13/capcom-announces-capcom-cup-at-evo-2013-eight-best-ae-2012-and-umvc3-players-evo-to-act-as-first-qualifier/ | quote = }}</ref>
Then added in author and date:
<ref name="shor_Capc">{{Cite web | title = Capcom Announces Capcom Cup at Evo Panel; Eight Best AE 2012 and UMvC3 Players, Evo 2013 to Act as First Qualifier | author = Ian Walker | work = Shoryuken | date = 2013-07-13 | accessdate = 2015-01-29 | url = http://shoryuken.com/2013/07/13/capcom-announces-capcom-cup-at-evo-2013-eight-best-ae-2012-and-umvc3-players-evo-to-act-as-first-qualifier/ | quote = }}</ref>
Then delete the spaces to shrink it:
<ref name="shor_Capc">{{Cite web| title = Capcom Announces Capcom Cup at Evo Panel; Eight Best AE 2012 and UMvC3 Players, Evo 2013 to Act as First Qualifier| author = Ian Walker| work = Shoryuken| date = 2013-07-13| accessdate = 2015-01-29| url = http://shoryuken.com/2013/07/13/capcom-announces-capcom-cup-at-evo-2013-eight-best-ae-2012-and-umvc3-players-evo-to-act-as-first-qualifier/}}</ref>
It well looks like this:

Hello, I'm Donner60. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to Apex (tournament series)— because it didn’t appear constructive to me. Evo 2015 results
Hey, thanks for the assist on finishing the Ultimax results yesterday. Can I trust you on helping out with the Tekken 7 and possibly the Smash Wii U results today? I'm going to be out of the house again for a couple hours this afternoon and will definitely miss Tekken and possibly the tail end of Smash depending on how long it goes. If you can't, I'll take care of it when I get back. NeoChaosX (talk, edits) 16:30, 18 July 2015 (UTC)
- One more thanks and major props for the work on the results for today's finals. I did them all for 2013 and 2014, so it was kind of nice to get a bit of a break and focus on the Sunday finals for a bit. NeoChaosX (talk, edits) 05:21, 20 July 2015 (UTC)

Tekken 7
They are indeed one of the most Wikia editors. So a Foodboy1998 changed repeatedly on the side of Tekken 7 the character list. He repeatedly makes Jack-7 Returning to the characters back, although Jack-7 is a new character. Could you tell him that he should leave it in fact, they could page a few days with terminate operations, thus it stops slowly.
Tekken Contents
You might also be the Anonymous User 68.37.227.226 say that he should leave Jollibee and Luke at the contents of Tekken drinne. According to Harada Jollibee occur in Tekken 7, even though he has not yet been confirmed, and Luke was also not confirmed yet, but you can not easily find it on the internet because it is not posted worldwide. Important to me is only Jollibee. In Luke, I can not say whether it is a drawing of a fan or whether he was without intention at the time it published. In any case annoys me that taken last Jollibee and Luke out, besodners Jollibee. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TheKerberos01 (talk • contribs) 17:14, 2 August 2015 (UTC)
User 68.37.227.226
I know there was ever a request, but it comes to 68.37.227.226. Could you please say that he should not take part take in list of Tekken characters in Contents Jollibee and Luke out and will not come with me if I go on like this (the insert again) to block me him. Furthermore, if there should come a problem now in Tekken 7 should be the character of Jack-7 with the new characters. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TheKerberos01 (talk • contribs) 17:29, 10 August 2015 (UTC)

Re: Killer Instinct
Please remove Mira and RAAM from the characters section. As convincing as the evidence is, Wikipedia is not a crystal ball, and we have no way of verifying those leaks' authenticity until they are officially announced. If the characters really are in, they're not going anywhere; you can afford to wait until Microsoft or Iron Galaxy give the official word. There's no need to rush and add them to the page as quickly as possible. -- 68.37.227.226 (talk) 22:27, 10 March 2016 (UTC)
Re: BTVA is a situational souce.
Situational sources of information are self-published and thus not reliable. As for green check marks, though, they can be deceptively incorrect and thus unusable. See Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 as an example. Click on a green check mark for any character except Yu Narukami. Homechallenge55 (talk) 17:46, 8 May 2016 (UTC)
- Are you even trying to look? Check out Resident Evil 6. Click on green check marks for Helena Harper, Jake Muller, Piers Nivans, and Ada Wong. As they are all incorrectly sourced, the on-screen captures belong to Matthew Mercer as Leon S. Kennedy, not the characters I had previously listed. Homechallenge55 (talk) 15:53, 9 May 2016 (UTC)
- I agree BTVA green check-marks are still situational; you have to do the work and look at what they screen captured as the source. If it the actual video game screen credits, then that's good. If it's a screen capture of a cast announcement, that could work too. If it is a screen capture of someone's tweet, then it falls under WP:SELFPUB and should be judged against that standard. It is not as strong as the actual credit. Given that Resident Evil 6 is a well-known game that actually bothers to list the English credits, look about 4 minutes into the game at Facial Capture (ADR) Cast, you can cite the video game itself. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:13, 9 May 2016 (UTC)
- As an update to this, I've updated the Resident Evil 6 credits for the main characters on their appropriate VA page. I didn't bother with the minor characters such as Enemies or HQ. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:43, 9 May 2016 (UTC)

- Persona 4 is a hairy one for BTVA because the actual game itself does not list English voice credits. You have to look at each individual one in the check mark and see what they are using as proof. Some of them are screen capturing the VA's resume or website, so those are fairly weak for reliable source and are already covered by the upper-right corner general credit. I wouldn't list it under BTVA in that case. There's one where BTVA corresponds with Karen Strassman over Twitter over whether she voiced a character, and Strassman confirms yes after listening to the samples. That's a bit more reliable, and about as best as we can get given the lack of English voice credits, so I would cite that. Yuri Lowenthal has an interview with Siliconera about his character in the game, so I would dig up that actual interview and cite that instead of BTVA. Amanda Winn Lee's is also correspondence so that's okay. Tracey Rooney looks like a screen cap of Wikipedia so no, I would strike that one out for sure. Laura Bailey's is her resume, so skip that one (it's covered on her resume) Troy Baker is correspondence / interview, so that's okay. Johnny Yong Bosch is correspondence but a later screen capture of his autograph helps. JB Blanc is correspondence. Kyle Hebert is resume capture so skip that one. Michelle Ann Dunphy is a facebook post, so I would skip that one too / group under resume. So as you can see that's a lot of work to analyze each check-mark but it has to be done to distinguish ones that are resume based and ones are reliable self-pubs. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:43, 9 May 2016 (UTC)
- Adding to this talk, if a resume is taking its information from Wikipedia itself (ie. Erin Fitzgerald), don't use it. As what Angus stated, BTVA checkmarks having Wikipedia or any Wiki is unusable. So all people have to do is heavy research (people like myself and others). Now I understand. WP:RS should be referred to at all times. ULTRA-DARKNESS:) 2 CHAT 16:53, 9 May 2016 (UTC)

Replaceable fair use File:TL-NuckleDu.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:TL-NuckleDu.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and add the text
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}}
below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing<your reason>
with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable. - On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NativeForeigner Talk 05:03, 18 August 2016 (UTC)
Metacritic
Don't tell me that Metacritic is a reliable source of information. Example: http://www.metacritic.com/game/playstation-2/soulcalibur-iii/details Homechallenge55 (talk) 15:05, 19 August 2016 (UTC)
- When did I say that Metacritic was not WP:RS? Last time I checked, Metacritic is now the standard for aggregate review scores, since GameRankings is redundant. I don't know anything about the details section in the Metacritic site, although the details section could be WP:USERG. I'm not an expert on this site, but I do know that the aggregate scores are safe to use. I never touched the Metacritic details section or even used it, so I have no clue as to why I am seeing this. :( -- ULTRA-DARKNESS:) 2 CHAT 17:00, 19 August 2016 (UTC)
