Advice
Don't remove warnings about unsourced images; fix them. Also, use categories and interwiki links in your articles (see what changes I made to them). Also please don't move your userpage, or create copies of it in places other then your userspace (see Wikipedia:User page).-- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus | talk 18:26, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

License tagging for Image:JKACZYNSKI.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:JKACZYNSKI.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 14:07, 27 September 2006 (UTC)

History of the Acadians
Hey, what's with all those links ( Madame d'Aulnay, Emmanuel LeBorgne , le sieur de Saint-Mas, Philippe Mius d’Entremont, Cap-de-Sable, Jeanne Motin) on the History of the Acadians page that you made? I'm more than aware that the article already has plenty of dead red links. Are you planning on going back through and making articles for those red links? Also, I'm sure you, as you took the time to read the article, you came across this name Charles de Saint-Étienne de la Tour - this is the link you are looking for for not *La Tour* which leads to an infinite list of various place names, mostly in France. Thank you for taking the time and going back and fixing those.DDD DDD 23:56, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
Zebra
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in Zebra. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Request
Hi Umedard, would you please take care to properly organize the articles, categories, and templates that you create. You may wish to review the links in your welcome message, especially the "Getting Started" section. Also, take a look at some featured articles to see how to properly arrange the article content. Dzieki, przyda sie do artykulu o Dziadku :) -- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus | talk 16:44, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
I'm assuming that you were intending this article to be nominated for Did You Know. If that's the case, just remember to make your nominations here, rather than here. A couple of quick points as well:
- It's normally the done thing to put the article you're nominating in bold (and linked to)
- Stubs are ineligible for DYK, and that article is definitely one right at the moment.
Don't get disheartened, though. DYK's a strange beast sometimes, and I'm sure you'll be getting your nominations onto the front page soon enough. BigHaz - Schreit mich an 10:01, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
Infobox County Poland

Edit
You removed links to three closely related articles in "Dunajec River Gorge" article section "See also" without a word of explanation [1]. The links are there for a reason since those who read about the Gorge would certainly want to find out more about the river, the park, and the landmark. I believe it must have been an oversight on your part. The links are featured in the text all right but they stand out more under "See also". It doesn't hurt to have them there. Greetings. --Poeticbent talk 03:39, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
- Linki istnieją w tekście więc postanowiłem je usunąć z See also.
- Thanks for the prompt responce. Like I said, it doesn't hurt to have the critical links featured separately. There are a lot of links in the article, but they are not so critical. For example, links to Geology of Europe, geomorphology, limestone, dolomite, botany, zoology, etc. "See also" links in my view are of greater importance. They lead to articles related to the story. Thanks again. --Poeticbent talk 04:14, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
Hi - a stub template or category which you created has been nominated for deletion or renaming at Wikipedia:Stub types for deletion. The stub type, which was not proposed at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Proposals, does not meet the standard requirements for a stub type, either through being incorrectly named, ambiguously scoped, or through failure to meet standards relating to the current stub hierarchy or likely size, as explained at Wikipedia:Stub. Please feel free to make any comments at WP:SFD regarding this stub type, and in future, please consider proposing new stub types first! Grutness...wha? 04:41, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
North America (Americas) delete review
Thanks for voting and expressing your opinion about the article North America (Americas). As you know the debate was closed, and the result was "to delete it". Since I, as the creator of the article, thought the decision was hasty and wrong, I opened a to review the deletion.
This mean that administrators and regular editors can vote again and, most importantly, argument why the decision was wrong or right. Please, take a look at this and express your opinion:

Per List of communes in Poland, I believe that the consensus form is Niedźwiada Commune, i.e. we translate into English the Polish form "gmina". We already follow this practice with all the "powiats" (example Lubartów County). If you disagree, please discuss before moving articles. Balcer 22:46, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
Niestety, dalej jest bałagan, bo mamy Category:Gminas of Poland zamiast Category:Communes of Poland. Ale wszystko jest do wyprostowania.
- Gratuluję pracy przy artykułach o okolicach Lublina. Balcer 23:34, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

Hello Umedard, an automated process has found an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, such as fair use. The image (Image:PiS logo.svg) was found at the following location: User:Umedard. This image or media will be removed per statement number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media will be replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. The image that was replaced will not be automatically deleted, but it could be deleted at a later date. Articles using the same image should not be affected by my edits. I ask you to please not readd the image to your userpage and could consider finding a replacement image licensed under either the Creative Commons or GFDL license or released to the public domain. Thanks for your attention and cooperation. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 04:59, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

Having your own page deleted
If you create a page, and before anyone else edits it you decide to have it deleted, like what seems to have happened with Category:Gmina of Abramów, please put a {{db-self}} at the top of the page, in stead of blanking it. This will attract an administrator to it to have it deleted. I've marked this one for you - since you blanked it, that's enough. Od Mishehu 10:33, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
Notability of John S. Mitchell III
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on John S. Mitchell III, by Nuttah68, another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because John S. Mitchell III seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting John S. Mitchell III, please affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page, and put a note on its talk page. This bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate John S. Mitchell III itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. Thanks. --Android Mouse Bot 2 08:45, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Bph.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Bph.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 18:04, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:1989_jaroslaw_e_lech_kaczynski.jpg
Thank you for uploading Image:1989_jaroslaw_e_lech_kaczynski.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. User:Gay Cdn (talk) (Contr) 00:48, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
