editThanks for reverting my edit in that All That Remains page. For some reason I thought that they were at Mayhem Fest last year, when they really weren't. I don't know what I was thinking... TheWeakWilled (talk) 14:29, 25 May 2009 (UTC)

editall right. i was going to change it back anyway because i got symphonic rock and neo-classical rock confused. honestly though, no one else has discussed the genre and they do have some classical parts in a lot of their newer songs. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.36.111.17 (talk) 18:01, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
Genres mentioned in the infobox should reflect what's mentioned in the article. To call TBDM only a "heavy metal band" would be a half-truth and misleading. --Danteferno (talk) 17:49, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
- The problem with that analogy is that Metallica are (unarguably) a heavy metal band, whereas "TBDM" are a metal and metalcore hyrbid, according to reliable sources on the page. "More aggressive"? Who cares what you think they sound like? You should read up on Wikipedia's policy on No Original Research. (WP:NOR). Also, you might want to check out the band's talk page: TBDM's own frontman admitted to metalcore/hardcore influences and being part of the metalcore scene. Either change back to "metal/metalcore band" or leave as "American band", I don't want to get a Wikipedia administrator involved in this.--Danteferno (talk) 21:20, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
- You're talking to the wrong person about that. There's a section on Wikipedia that verifies that kind of stuff. --Danteferno (talk) 02:01, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
- The explanation for the suspicion was stated in my post to the admin, which you read, apparently. You shouldn't have anything to worry about if the other username/IP isn't you, so why are you worried about it?

- Also, one thing I noticed in the archived discussion about TBDM: One of the "they're not metalcore!" people conceded TBDM played metalcore on earlier releases. Fans state they still play older material LIVE, so even if we were going to debate on what the band "sounds like", it would be irrelevant, as both the "core" and "melodeath" genres would apply. The band is by no means a "solid" heavy metal band. Again, the band's own label promoted them as "hardcore-influenced death metal". I don't think Brian Slagel is a metal amateur. --Danteferno (talk) 04:08, 29 August 2009 (UTC)

editThank you for writing this article. You are not the first to write an article on a middle school in this district, but your article is very complete. However, the neutrality of the article is disputed and certain parts remain biased towards members of your school. Please make sure all sections remain unbiased.
