The small agricultural based village is situated on Keerthiman river (Cavery). It is in India (south), Tamilnadu, Thiruvarur Dist, Kudavasal Taluk, 22 Kms from Kumbakonam.

The village is well connected by road, enroute to Kumbakonam - Karikal road. Buses/train services from chennai, Bangalore, are connected to Kumbakonam.
