Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Six Impala

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Six Impala, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. @Vaudeville Duo this draft is also written in a completely inappropriate tone. I have not marked it for speedy deletion for spam, but other editors might. qcne (talk) 11:18, 6 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
My apologies. I will do what I can to fix this article. Vaudeville Duo (talk) 11:22, 6 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
Have a read of our policy at Wikipedia:Neutral point of view. qcne (talk) 11:23, 6 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
I wrote this on the Teahouse but no response yet. Thought I would post it here in case you can tell me whether or not I should keep trying to publish this article: “ Hello there! I like a band I discovered via Spotify. They are called Six Impala. They have 47.8k listeners so they’re not tiny but I feel they should be better known. One of their members is called underscores and they have 361.8k listeners. I do not know them personally and live on the other side of the planet. They have not been written about much so maybe that means they are not worthy of entry? Please advise! (Also, my draft was rejected because the tone is inappropriate so I will work to fix that if they are allowed to be included.)” Vaudeville Duo (talk) 11:47, 6 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
P.S. I read the policy and deleted the glowing praise. Vaudeville Duo (talk) 11:48, 6 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
Hi again @Vaudeville Duo, I see you got responded to on the Teahouse- but just to re-iterate we're looking for significant coverage in multiple independent sources: so not interviews. Reviews would work, like ref 2, but your other references don't. We're usually looking for at least three of these types of sources. qcne (talk) 18:24, 6 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
