No response to the concerns over external links in the last week; decline for now. only (talk) 11:39, 25 December 2013 (UTC)

- Why did you add a link to what I assume is your personal website here? Callanecc (talk • contribs • logs) 12:11, 16 December 2013 (UTC)
- Because I thought it would be nice for people to find an mac-os installer for the software that is described on the wikipedia page. Happened to me so I created those (also one for windows since its mono-based) installers which now can be downloaded from my page. Veeck (talk) 12:45, 18 December 2013 (UTC)
- Have a look at WP:ELNO. Do you still think it's appropriate to add a link to your website for the reason you stated? Why or why not? Callanecc (talk • contribs • logs) 12:59, 18 December 2013 (UTC)
- Sorry for my late answer. But I think that it doesn't matter what I think about the appropriateness of my entry since you already blocked me and my entry. Not sure how I have to proceed now to contribute to wikipedia, don't feel welcome here Veeck (talk) 20:47, 9 February 2014 (UTC)

Wanted to start editing stuff, found out that this dispute is still open. I would remove my offending link from the page but I cannot since I am blocked. So how should I proceed now? Veeck (talk) 14:26, 14 August 2019 (UTC)

- I have removed the link. While I'm inclined to give you another chance, we still need to know that you understand WP:ELNO and will abide by it. Knowing what you want to edit about would be helpful as well. 331dot (talk) 08:30, 15 August 2019 (UTC)
- I guess I violated section 11 and I wont post links to my personal homepage again. But then again why is the first link in that articles external links allowed? Although now dead, it pointed to the private homepage of the creator where the tool was found. As I assume this would only be allowed if the link was the original articles subject this doesnt seem to be the case here since its about Tiled Printing and not about the software itself. Anyway, I wanted to update the information about https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Modernizr a software which I help develop these days.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Veeck (talk • contribs)
- Please review conflict of interest which will explain why editing about the software that you worked on is problematic. Other potentially problematic external links existing does not mean that yours is permitted too; you can either remove a problematic link or discuss the matter on the article talk page. 331dot (talk) 12:59, 13 September 2019 (UTC)
