Hello, I'm HaeB. I noticed that you recently removed content from Indian road network without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Multiple reverts

edit

I have made multiple reverts to edits by you. The main reason is making changes without citing any references and the absence of reasons for your edits. Not adding an explanation for an edit is guaranteed to attract attention, it is in your own interests to give a reason. If you want your edits to stick, you must provide sources. It is important that you build a reputation for trustworthiness in Wikipedia; your track record for reverts and no citations is noted and right now you need to do a lot of work to rebuild trust. I encourage you to keep editing but: give explanations, provide sources. Ex nihil (talk) 20:19, 13 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Pune, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your edit to Pune does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing →   Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! @Vinrpm.p6054:: I second GreaterPonce. You have made unexplained and frankly unnecessary deletions on Brigade Road too. Please follow Ponce's advice and use the edit summaries. Looking at your contribs, it appears that you make a lot of unexplained deletions; please refrain from doing so in the future. Best, Wilhelm Tell DCCXLVI (talk) 16:07, 21 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

ARBIPA sanctions alert

edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Russian flag on 2021 Formula One World Championship

edit

Hi, the flags on 2021 Formula One World Championship#Calendar are for the countries that the circuits are located in. The Sochi Autodrom is in the country of Russia, even if drivers and teams cannot use the Russian flag when competing, and so we use Russian flag. Same as how the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix at Imola uses Italian flag (because it's in Italy). There was a discussion about this a few years ago at WT:F1, any changes would need to be discussed there. This is now getting out of hand, every image you have added to Red Bull Racing has been removed as copyright violations. You do not seem to understand how it works, I highly suggest you read all the links in the warning above. The next time you add copyright violations to this article I'll start a WP:AN/I if that's what it will take to get you to stop. Seriously, copyright is no joke. • Vinrpm.p6054, I suggest that you visit the discussion referred to above, read and understand it, and comment there to reassure other editors and admins that the issues mentioned will not be an ongoing problem. If you don't do that then there is a chance that an admin might block you to protect the encyclopedia from disruption. I'm sure you have good intentions, but this is a collaborative environment, and your fellow editors need to be confident that you will not cause further disruption going forward. Here is a link to the discussion: [1]. Good luck. Begoon 01:36, 24 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
to understand what images you can upload, and how to do so without any copyright issues. It's a little bit complicated to take in all at once, so if you do have questions then the best thing to do BEFORE uploading any future images is to go to

Speedy deletion nomination of List of Formula One Grand Prix wins by Max Verstappen

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on List of Formula One Grand Prix wins by Max Verstappen requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Formula One Grand Prix wins by Max Verstappen. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
