Re: ICS Image
Im not FlorenceLau, but I think you don't actually have to ask her to put an image on the article... it is public domain. :) By the way, are you from ICS, because I am. Leujohn (talk, contribs) 12:54, 30 October 2008 (UTC)
- *gasp* you like Mrs. Chromik! By the way, I'm a 7th grader in ICS. It's good to know that there is a Wikipedian in the same school as me :) Leujohn (talk, contribs) 03:09, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
- Do you mean that you don't know how to put an image on the article or do you not have an image? By the way, may I try guessing your name? There are only 80 posssibilities :D If you want to try guessing my name, It should be kinda obvious if you look at the student directory announcement on Eclass. Leujohn (talk, contribs) 09:04, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
- I wonder if we can just put the logo on the article instead. My guess on your name would be Ga L in 9G2. If you guess my name, just put my facegroup, because if you can do that, it would be obvious if I told you I am not Jonathan. Leujohn (talk, contribs) 05:33, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
- I told you it would be obvious. Wow... my guess would be Fl C from 9G1? Leujohn (talk, contribs) 07:52, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
- I will take that as a no.
I will fill in my guess later, since I am in the middle of a heated argument. Back to the picture, do you have inkscape? The logo I found on [1] is very pixelised if you zoom it to 1002 pixels on photoshop, so I wanted to change it to a svg file.I have installed inkscape, but can't find an image big enough so that I can actually see the words below a 1002 px image. If you find a pretty big ICS logo, put the link in my talk so I can change it to a svg file. My guess for your name would be Ch Y from 9G4. (2)Leujohn (talk, contribs) 10:10, 2 November 2008 (UTC)

Doppelganger Account
{{helpme}}
I am having trouble with the template on User:Vltava 68 User:Vltava68 and User talk:Vltava68; it doesn't show my username or anything except for "Vltava68". Vltava 68 (talk contribs) 02:37, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
- what template are you tying to add? Antonio Lopez (desu) 02:58, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
- Fixed. A lot of templates have variables that need to be defined. With {{doppelganger}}, for example, you need to do this: {{doppelganger|Vltava 68}} to make it display properly. [ roux ] [x] 03:03, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
- It's fixed now, thanks. (One of the links was wrong so I crossed it out and put the new one in.) Vltava 68 (talk contribs) 12:00, 31 October 2008 (UTC)

Commited Identity
{{helpme}}
How do I create one? The article is confusing. Vltava 68 (talk contribs) 07:53, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
- See Template:User committed identity. Please ask me for more help.--Thanks, Ainlina(box)? 08:03, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
- They already saw the article, silly. :P This is a great cryptohash site. Just input whatever you'd like to be your code (for example, "secret") and copy the output. Do not tell anyone what you hashed. This way, if your account ever gets compromised, you can give your code to an admin and they can cross-reference it with your hash code (basically, your keyword will unlock the hash or something). Then put your hash into {{user committed identity}}. Cheers, Master of Puppets Call me MoP! :) 08:07, 31 October 2008 (UTC)

Help w/ French
{{helpme}}
Could someone me with my French user page? My French is really bad, and as a result, I do not know how to group the userboxes the way I want them, which is like on User:Vltava 68/My userboxes. (The userboxes and the menus on my user page are a template based on that page.) Vltava 68 (talk contribs) 12:58, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
- Why do you need your userpage in French? Seriously, look for a user that speaks french (this is usually in an infobox) and ask them to help. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells • Otter chirps • HELP) 14:00, 31 October 2008 (UTC)

Czech classical music
Hi Vltava! I see you are interested in Czech music, and you are also native English speaker. Great. Would you mind to improve the grammar in some of the articles, which I've created? Just look at my page. Thanks and have a nice day! (Btw, very poetic username!)--Vejvančický (talk) 17:25, 6 November 2008 (UTC)
- I will try, but I have limited time to spare, so my corrections, if needed, may be rather delayed. Vltava 68 (talk contribs) 11:39, 7 November 2008 (UTC)

Forgot template name...
{{helpme}} It was "Req" then something else. I think the purpose of it was to request media files for articles (or maybe just music ones). Vltava 68 (talk contribs) 21:20, 9 November 2008 (UTC)

Would like to delete a subpage of mine...
{{helpme}}
I created User:Vltava 68/Archive. August to October 2008 by accident thinking it would be useful. I doubt it is. How could I get it deleted? (I doubt Articles for Deletion would work well for this sort of thing...) Come to think of it, the following would also be good candidates for the same action, seeing that the pages they redirect from are no longer relevant or perhaps were created from a typo, fear of diacritics, etc, etc.
- User:Vltava 68/USerboxes/Aspires to be musician box
- User:Vltava 68/Interests
- User:Vltava 68/Workshop
- User:Vltava 68/Dvořák box
- User:Vltava 68/Die Moldau box
- User:Vltava 68/Dvorak box
And I thought I was a sensible person... Vltava 68 (talk contribs) 10:01, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
- Easy-peasy. Just add {{db-u1}} to any pages in your userspace you want deleted. Cheers. //roux 10:04, 21 November 2008 (UTC)

RE: Sockpuppet
No, making edits from your IP is not a sockpuppet account. Sockpuppet accounts are accounts that are used to avoid blocks, make vandalism edits after being blocked, ect.... So you don't have to worry. If you want to read more about sockpuppet accounts visit this link. Edgehead5150 00:42, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

I would perfer it to be International Christian School (Hong Kong), but I don't want to change that unless you agree. Just another comment :D Leujohn (talk) 08:52, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
RE:Interview as Source
Interviews from magazines shouldn't be used a sources because they can be made up, but if the source is an audio interview you should be able to use it as a source. As for the user with the similar username i don't think there is anything that you can do. Edgehead5150 22:30, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
Formatting for article
{{helpme}}
Could someone help me fix the formatting for the musicians section for the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong article? I would like there to be as many sections as possible to save space, and preferably keep the instruments in one place. Vltava 68 (talk contribs) 04:26, 27 November 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong
A tag has been placed on City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells • Otter chirps • HELP) 04:32, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
- I objected to the proposed deletion, and as a result, the article, as of now, is still here. Vltava 68 09:11, 18 December 2008 (UTC)

Re: Formatting on article
Hi! For the formatting, I guess the best way to clean it up is to put it into a table, hence the one in my sandbox. (Scroll to the bottom, excuse me of the clutter) As for the info, I'm almost positively sure that if I make an article of one of them, it'll get deleted by WP:CSD A7, but, if you don't think so, give me a reply and I'll write something about Stephiane Bina to see the initial reaction. By the way, congrats on the new rollback right! Leujohn (talk) 07:47, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Poptropica Spy.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Poptropica Spy.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.
Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 02:03, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
RE:Vandalism Templates
To make a template show the name of the vandalized page, add "|" after the text in the template followed by the name of the page. Example: {{subst:uw-vandalism1}} would be changed to {{subst:uw-vandalism1|User talk:Vltava 68}} Edgehead5150 04:14, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
Re: Vandalism Templates
I'm not sure I get you, but if you mean {{subst:uw-vand1}}, just put {{subst:uw-vand1|*Insert article name here*}}. For all parameters, you might want to check out Template:uw-vand1. Cheers! Leujohn (talk) 06:16, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
- If I remember correctly, Special:DeletedContributions does that function but is restricted for Administrators only. Leujohn (talk) 06:32, 29 November 2008 (UTC)

I added the coords for it, but I'm currently busy, but I'll get back to it later at night. If you have time, I'll tell you this. Shek Mun has more than just two schools. It also includes the factory area on the other side of the train station, and then the residental zone after that if you continue walking. After that, you should see a river. That is the southwestern boundary of Shek Mun. Good luck on your speech. Leujohn (talk) 10:40, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the Barnstar
If I knew how to say "thank you" in Czech, I'd do so, Vltava. That shows how much I really know about the Czech language. I do bluff my way through some questions, but I don't get away with it all the time and my abysmal ignorance was starkly revealed in one of my recent Czech-related answers. But thanks, anyway. -- JackofOz (talk) 18:32, 7 December 2008 (UTC)

re:靈火文化
It probably isn't notable, but I'm not an expert on Hong Kong religious societies, so I can't really say, but CSD#A2 is only used if the article exists on a foreign language wiki. 靈火文化, has no article on the Chinese wiki, so CSD#A2 shouldn't be used here. According to policy, we should tag it with {{notenglish}} and list it here instead, and WP:PROD it or take it to WP:AFD later. --Patar knight - chat/contributions 04:31, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
