Hi Vuara--
I've just noticed that you are creating a string of economics pages, which is very welcome, but you're getting Wikipedia's *Naming conventions wrong, which means that some of your effort is going to be wasted. The rule is that unless something is a proper name, or there is some other particular reason, we don't capitalise second and subsequent words in titles. So you provided a Balance of Payments page when there was already a perfectly good (in fact rather more thorough) Balance of payments page. Please check on this when creating new pages so you don't do a whole lot of duplication. Thanks. Don't worry, there are plenty of genuinely missing economics pages you can have all to yourself!
(and in case you think this is something that only relative newcomers do, be assured it's not - I just wasted a pile of time writing a page on nicitating membrane when we already had one on nictitating membrane - I'd never realised the former was a misspelling.)

Vuara,
I reverted/removed your contribution to Google (the quote from Jim Karpen). First of all, it's a direct copy of the guy's work, and whether or not it has permission, Wikipedia is not a place for direct quotes or original source materual. Second of all, it's POV, in that it praises Google and its services in a manner far from neutral or encyclopedic. Finally, I think that much of the content of that particular post is already discussed in the page. In the future, note that copying of this nature is just not what Wikipedia wants. Best luck with your future exploits on Wikipedia,

Disambiguation link notification for April 8
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of marinas, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Shelter Island (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:24, 8 April 2018 (UTC)

ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message
editThe article Tesla Mafia has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
New article about non-notable subject/group
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. – Broccoli & Coffee (Oh hai) 03:52, 13 July 2021 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Noctis Landing
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Noctis Landing requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.hou.usra.edu/meetings/explorationzone2015/pdf/1050.pdf. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Sungodtemple (talk • contribs) 23:46, 18 March 2023 (UTC)
- I have declined the speedy deletion. It is unclear to me what the copyright status is. The PDF referenced above is the same paper as the one provided as a reference in the article, but the one in the article was downloaded from NASA *(https://ntrs.nasa.gov/api/citations/20150021128/downloads/20150021128.pdf). If it is a NASA work, then it is public domain and it not a copyright violation. Instead, I have listed the article as a copyright problem for further investigation. -- Whpq (talk) 02:16, 19 March 2023 (UTC)
- Ok, ok, I've got it! This info is "copyrighted". Doesn't matter if it was downloaded from NASA or not--because very likely it is CLASSIFIED. Boy! For so long. Hush, hush! For how many years already! Speedy deletion? Why bother. Just go for Immediately deletion. Please. Vuara (talk) 04:17, 19 March 2023 (UTC)
