Warning
editYou have created a number of nonsense/attack pages, such as Rowan Cavanagh and Joe Brady. Please stop as this is considered vandalism. —Whouk (talk) 11:19, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
Two of your edits to We All Fall Down count as vandalism. Since of them, correction of my spelling error, isn't vandalism, I assume you're trying to help. The author's name was already mentioned, and the "characters" aspect is necessary for Wikipedia: Project Novels. Sophy's Duckling 19:33, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Cormier_Robert.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:Cormier_Robert.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me or ask for help at Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. Thank you. -- Carnildo 06:08, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
- I fixed this problem by adding a publicity photo tag. It should be all right now. :) Sophy's Duckling 15:40, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
Unspecified source for Image:Yorke.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:Yorke.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nv8200p talk 22:57, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
Edit summaries
editAre meant to be precise - see -http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Edit_summary - please use talk pages for lengthy comments - thanks SatuSuro 00:26, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
Edit warring
editYou currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on UEFA Champions League 2007-08. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. ARTYOM 22:22, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
Hello. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary, which wasn't included with your recent edit to UEFA Champions League 2007-08. Although Wikipedia policy requests that editors assume good faith, when you make an edit without providing a summary of said edit, the contents of that edit may be hard for others to explain. When this happens, your edit often gets reverted. To reduce the frequency of your edits being reverted, please provide an edit summary. – PeeJay 23:00, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to UEFA Champions League 2007-08, you will be blocked from editing. Consider yourself warned. – PeeJay 21:26, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to UEFA Champions League 2007-08, you will be blocked from editing. You are being a disruptive influence. One more and you're getting reported. – PeeJay 21:29, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
- You said you were doing it in alphabetical order at one point. Make your mind up. Either way, next time you do it, you're getting reported. – PeeJay 21:38, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
- I would direct your attention to this diff, where you clearly state that you were putting the items in alphabetical order (albeit badly) in the edit summary. Furthermore, I am in no higher a position than you, mon ami. Your edits make no sense, and I am merely trying to set things right. Your persistent edits are preventing me from doing that. – PeeJay 22:35, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
- I don't understand how you can apply chronological order to this situation. Both Arsenal and Manchester United qualified at the same time on 4 March, and the same goes for Chelsea and Liverpool on 5 March (well, there was probably a few seconds in it on both dates, but meh). Basically, the only order that makes any sense here, from a non-POV standpoint, is alphabetical. – PeeJay 22:53, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
- Can you explain to me why chronological order makes more sense than alphabetical order? Personally, I think you're just choosing an arbitrary ordering system to get your favourite team to the front of the list. – PeeJay 23:03, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
- Now you're just clutching at straws, tbh. The order that the teams qualified from the First knockout round is irrelevant as it has no bearing on the later rounds. In fact, it has no bearing on anything at all. I'm still convinced that you just want to see Man Utd at the top of the list. Anyway, I've had enough of this argument. Any further edits regarding this matter and you'll be reported to the admins. – PeeJay 23:12, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

File copyright problem with File:Cormier Robert.jpg
editThank you for uploading File:Cormier Robert.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.
You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Shizhao (talk) 05:18, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
