Speedy deletion nomination of User:WFFComms/sandbox

Common mistakes or beliefs about promotional editing center on the assumption that promotional editing only applies to promotion for commercial gain. I understand the reason for the block was due to concerns about promotional content. However, I want to clarify that the World Food Forum (WFF) is an independent, youth-led global network of partners facilitated and hosted by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). Launched in 2021, it aims to spark a global movement that empowers young people everywhere to actively shape agrifood systems to help achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and a better food future for all. The WFF serves as the premier global forum to harness the passion and power of youth to identify solutions and incite positive action for agrifood systems. We do not endorse any business or organization for profit. Our mission is to empower youth globally to take action towards a sustainable future. I will ensure that all future edits are strictly informational and in line with Wikipedia's guidelines. Here are the steps I will take:

1. I will disclose any compensation received for my contributions in accordance with Wikipedia’s paid-contribution disclosure requirement.

This choice of new username isn't an improvement, please read the username policy. Your username must be individualistic in nature(your real name is not required). If you want to indicate your organization in your username, you may format it as "JohnDoe of WFF". Right now, we don't want you editing about the World Food Forum at all- you will need to first demonstrate an understanding of relevant policies before we permit you to indirectly contribute about it or anything for which you have a conflict of interest. We usually want to see that through the user building up a good edit history of edits in areas unrelated to their conflict of interest, please tell what topics you might edit about. Please also see WP:PAID- it does not require specific compensation for contributions, any form of compensation(such as employment) triggers the disclosure requirement. Before making any further unblock requests, you should perhaps review Wikipedia:Wikipedia is not here to tell the world about your noble cause. Wikipedia makes no distinction between for-profit businesses and non-profit organizations. Either one must satisfy the notability critieria for companies and organizations to be considered worthy of inclusion.

You also have an inherent conflict of interest writing about your own organization. The conflict of interest guide explains why this is highly discouraged, even for writers with good intentions. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 22:48, 9 July 2024 (UTC)
