Joseph McManners

Thanks for reverting vandalism on this article a while back. Unfortunately more of it followed and it remained in a vandalized state for at least 5 days before I found out and reverted it. Anonymous users can in this case bring good info to the article, so I'm hesitant to protect the article in any way, but I'm afraid I'll have to if it gets vandalized again. Vector Terminology

Not at all. What I meant was that if the lies and hoaxes were removed from the article, there would be nothing left - so then I could WP:CSD#A3 it. Technically, a hoax article isn't a speedy candidate. Sorry for the confusion.  :) —Wknight94 (talk) 03:37, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

Re: Image question

As I understand the licencing for images, all images uploaded and properly tagged can be used anywhere, except for the fair use images, which can only be used in certain cases, mostly when it illustrates the subject only. Creative Commons licenses allow you to display the work if attribution is given. When you display an image, it links back to the image page, which shows the source, so attribution is automatically added. You should be good to go. "Innosense" album

Strange how that article on the band was deleted seeing as how their release was on RCA Records, for crying out loud. AFAIC, any artist or band that manages to land a deal on a major label is worthy of an article. I'd say you're perfectly justified in creating the article and that the deletion of the band was unjustified. If articles on local radio personalities can stay, this one should have as well. A new user with no prior history just did an article for local personality Casey Dolan, whom I happen to know. Casey's a great guy and has great ratings, but he's unknown outside the Palm Springs market. I had some incredible Arbitron ratings in the last book (I was the top-rated afternoon drive personality in most key demographics), but I don't expect an article anytime soon.  :) They know me in Palm Springs, but I'm persona non grata in San Bernardino, only about an hour's drive from here. - Lucky 6.9 04:49, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

You can put it in, but that doesn't mean that the template will actually use it. When you stick things in as a parameter on a template, the template doesn't actually have to use it. If you look at Johnathan Davis' article, it's not listed in the box.
