Welcome!

edit

Hello, Wcsneel, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! KPJ Sentosa KL Specialist Hospital moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, KPJ Sentosa KL Specialist Hospital, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Logo of GMH.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Vladlen Manilov / 07:00, 2 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Conflict of interest editing

edit

Hello, Wcsneel. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Gleneagles Hospital Penang, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 22:11, 2 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please take the time to read through the pages linked to in the above post. It's really important that you understand relevant Wikipedia policies and guidelines related to conflict-of-interest editing and paid-contributions. I strongly suggest that you do not make any more edits to any Wikipedia articles about Gleneagles hospitals until you've clarified any connection that you might have with them. You can continue working on drafts, etc. for future articles, but should really avoid directly editing any existing articles or creating any new articles yourself until the situation has been clarified. If you're not sure what "conflict-of-interest" means or how it may apply to you even after looking the above-mentioned pages, you can ask for assistance at Wikipedia:Conflict of interest/Noticeboard. Some other pages that you might find helpful are Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Ownership of content. Finally, I cannot stress enough that you need to be very careful when it comes to Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure. While conflict-of-interest editing is not expressly prohibited by the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use, undeclared paid or otherwise compensated editing is and administrators can immediately and indefinitely block an account without warning if they feel the account is being used for such a thing. -- Marchjuly (talk) 22:24, 2 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Draft:KPJ Sentosa KL Specialist Hospital

edit

If this was the first article that you created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

The page Draft:KPJ Sentosa KL Specialist Hospital has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appeared to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appeared to be a direct copy from https://kpjhealth.com.my/sentosa/who-we-are. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition has been be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, you may contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you may open a discussion at Wikipedia:Deletion ReviewDiannaa (talk) 21:33, 4 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi everyone, thank you for leaving some messages, here I would like to clarify about myself:

  • I am a newbie here, and I'm still learning how to contribute articles here.
  • I have no relationship with the said hospitals. I'm just an individual that tries to contribute some articles regarding the hospitals.

Thanks for uploading File:Logo of GMH.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed.
