Unspecified source for Image:Nadia nyce.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Nadia nyce.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Abu Badali 04:06, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

== Image:Nadia-flash2.jpg listed for deletion ==
Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as Image:Nadia-flash2.jpg has been listed for speedy deletion because you selected a copyright license type implying some type of restricted use, such as for non-commercial use only, or for educational use only or for use on Wikipedia by permission. While it might seem reasonable to assume that such files can be freely used on Wikipedia, a non-profit website, this is in fact not the case. Please do not upload any more files with these restrictions on them, because content on Wikipedia needs to be compatible with the GNU Free Documentation License, which allows anyone to use it for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial.

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. —Pilotguy (ptt) 21:43, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

Bunnies and Burrows

Thank you for the help in cleaning up the article. I will be darned if the false claims of non-notability will win the deletion debate. Turlo Lomon 12:07, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

Nice! You found a pic of the original! My hats off to you, good sir. Turlo Lomon 15:38, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
My pleasure! I never played the game, but it should not be deleted.Web Warlock 15:42, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

I'll have to dig out my copy of the game. I have the original, and even ran the game for a while in college. There are a few quirks in the system that appear to have been due to an incomplete genesis of the saving throw matrix, but all in all it was a fun game. It was a "typewritten" styled book, and a loose blue cardboard insert. Velaki 12:00, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

Barnstar

I Angelbo award you this Barnstar for your game and RPG related contributions

Dear Webwarlock
Here is a Barnstar for you. You show the community that you are a well-versed contributer, so for all your contributions to RPG related articles on wikipedia, and for clearing up and responding swiftly to AfD submitted by Gavin Collins, you get this pointy little star.
Best regards and happy editing

Thanks

Thanks for your contribution in the Mutants and Masterminds article, and in the AfD debate. It's a shame that so many people's time is being wasted by this series of deletion debates. Rray 17:06, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:EDENlogo.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:EDENlogo.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Removal of Slayage content from Willow Rosenberg

I saw you removed the analysis from Slayage from the Willow Rosenberg article, saying it fails Wikipedia:Verifiability because it is self-published. I had a look at the policy on self-published sources and it does point out that personal websites and blogs are largely not acceptable as sources - but "may, in some circumstances, be acceptable when produced by an established expert on the topic of the article whose work in the relevant field has previously been published by reliable third-party publications." I think Slayage qualifies for that exemption, as the site owners, Rhonda V. Wilcox and David Lavery, are published authors in the field ("Why Buffy Matters: The Art of Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "The Forces: What's At Stake In Buffy The Vampire Slayer?") and many of the articles are copied with permission from other (non-self-published) books. It also appears to have a reputable editorial staff. Kweeket 23:23, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

Hi, the discussion is being debated here. Thanks. Paul730 23:31, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

More thanks!

Thanks for the references on Isle of Dread! I was beginning to think that no one else aside from me was going to edit the page. As I've stated elsewhere, I don't have a big back library of gaming mags to use for sources. I appreciate the massive amount of time you've already spent on the project. Unfortunately there's still a lot of pages that need work, and not many people seem willing to spend much time in bettering them. --Craw-daddy | T | 10:49, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Even more thanks! :)

Thanks for the barnstar! Things have been frustrating as you well know, and it's all getting very tiresome. At times I've thought that Wikipedia is a giant exercise in naval gazing (or perhaps some odd version of mental ononism), and sometimes I still do. I've also considered giving up working on articles so it's good to know the effort's been appreciated.  :) --Craw-daddy | T | 19:27, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Blue rose cover.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Blue rose cover.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Do you think its possible for BloodRayne (series) to be semi-protected...? This ovbiously will not listen.....THROUGH FIRE JUSTICE IS SERVED! 22:55, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

I will request it. Thanks for all your hard work on dealing with this vandal. Web Warlock (talk) 02:48, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

Take a look at Aerith Gainsborough's article. See her infobox, the section that says "In-universe information"? Apparently its like mandatory for video game articles to have that. its intergrated into the "General CVG character" info box. I going to make one, but I'm not sure what to put into it.....so far I can think of "Race" and "Weapon". Can you think of anything else? THROUGH FIRE JUSTICE IS SERVED! 23:53, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
