Disambiguation pages
Hello, Werldwayd. When you moved Lorie to a new title and then changed the old title into a disambiguation page, you may not have been aware of WP:FIXDABLINKS, which says:
- A code of honor for creating disambiguation pages is to fix all resulting mis-directed links.
- Before moving an article to a qualified name (in order to create a disambiguation page at the base name, to move an existing disambiguation page to that name, or to redirect that name to a disambiguation page), click on What links here to find all of the incoming links. Repair all of those incoming links to use the new article name.
It would be a great help if you would check the other Wikipedia articles that contain links to "Lorie" and fix them to take readers to the correct article. Thanks. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 11:57, 20 January 2013 (UTC)
The article Silence Speaks has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- RyanDan album Silence Speaks was shelved without release to be replaced by another prospective release of 'Imagine, also not released for some reason
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Illia Connell (talk) 16:48, 21 January 2013 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Speedy deletion nomination of File:Mytown-album-by-mytown.jpg
A tag has been placed on File:Mytown-album-by-mytown.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Stefan2 (talk) 13:04, 24 January 2013 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:The-bilz-album-featuring-kashif.jpg)
Thanks for uploading File:The-bilz-album-featuring-kashif.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:08, 1 February 2013 (UTC)

The article Dave Bassett (songwriter) has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. reddogsix (talk) 16:01, 7 February 2013 (UTC)
Hi! It seems you recently created an unreferenced biography of a living person: Eric Legnini. The community has decided that all new biographies of living persons must contain a reliable source that supports at least one statement made about the person in the article as per our verifiability policy. Please add references as soon as possible. Thanks! --LaraBot (talk) 00:14, 14 February 2013 (UTC)

Greetings! I have reverted your edits redirecting Sex positive and Sex-positive to the disambiguation page, Sex Positive. The large number of incoming links to these redirects indicates that there is a stable expectation that they will point to sex positive movement as the primary topic of these terms. If you disagree, please initiate a discussion at WP:RFD. Cheers! bd2412 T 12:39, 21 February 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of "Vinnie Who"
A page you created, Vinnie Who, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a band or other musical group, but it does not indicate how they are important or significant, and thus why they should be included in an encyclopedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and the guidelines for musical groups in particular.
You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Repost of Goat (band)
A tag has been placed on Goat (band) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion process. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's discussion directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please contact the administrator who deleted the page or use deletion review instead of recreating the page. Thank you. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 13:48, 23 March 2013 (UTC)

"Uncover" peaked at number 5 in Norway?
Hello! Regarding the edit you made to the Zara Larsson article: You noted that the song "Uncover" has peaked at number 5 in Norway, but when I check the source you added, it actually says number 12, not 5. Where did you get that information from, if I'm unable to find it in the stated source? Thanks in advance, HeyMid (contribs) 09:59, 29 March 2013 (UTC)
- Here is the reference for having reached #5 in Norway up from #12 last week: http://lista.vg.no/ This is her third week in the Norwegian charts werldwayd (talk) 10:03, 29 March 2013 (UTC)
- I guess the charts will be updated next week with the peaks from this week (week 3). Nice to see that she is also making success in other countries than Sweden! Best regards, HeyMid (contribs) 10:13, 29 March 2013 (UTC)
- True. NorwegianCharts.com takes its information from VG-lista but it takes for them a few days to reflect that. Charts are updated on VG-lista Thursdays just like Sverigetopplistan is updated every Friday. Again Swedishcharts.com would be late a few days. As for Swedish success outside Sweden, it is truly amazing. Take Swedish singer Arash whose song "She Makes Me Go" is charting this week in France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland and all over Eastern Europe like Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, Slovakia. Here is the song by the Swedish singer Arash featuring Sean Paul http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bYUHjKnTrS8 werldwayd (talk) 10:23, 29 March 2013 (UTC)
- According to the article, Arash's song was relaunched last month in three of the countries you just mentioned. Anyway, as a Swede I find it amazing that artists like these can make worldwide success! Have a nice day, Werldwayd! Best regards, HeyMid (contribs) 10:33, 29 March 2013 (UTC)

The article Jamal (band) has been proposed for deletion. The proposed deletion notice added to the article should explain why.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Boleyn (talk) 21:23, 30 March 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Reepublic
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Reepublic requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Danrok (talk) 03:13, 8 April 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Dave Bassett (songwriter)
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Dave Bassett (songwriter), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
File:Roton-records-logo.png missing description details
is missing a description and/or other details on its image description page. If possible, please add this information. This will help other editors make better use of the image, and it will be more informative to readers.
If the information is not provided, the image may eventually be proposed for deletion, a situation which is not desirable, and which can easily be avoided.

If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.
If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Better source request for File:Thousand-drams.jpg
Thanks for your upload to Wikipedia:
You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact Web page where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain or the URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page or me at my talk page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 10:33, 20 April 2013 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on File:The-tsarnaev-suspects-fbi-photo-release.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
A tag has been placed on File:The-tsarnaev-suspects-fbi-photo-release.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". DYK for Limbo (Daddy Yankee song)
On 2 May 2013, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Limbo (Daddy Yankee song), which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that Daddy Yankee's performance of "Limbo" at the 2013 Billboard Latin Music Awards included "performers pounding skyscraper-size drums"? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Limbo (Daddy Yankee song). You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Alan Brown (filmmaker), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Matt Doyle (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi! It seems you recently created an unreferenced biography of a living person: Kên Higelin. The community has decided that all new biographies of living persons must contain a reliable source that supports at least one statement made about the person in the article as per our verifiability policy. Please add references as soon as possible. Thanks! --LaraBot (talk) 00:26, 10 May 2013 (UTC)
West explosion
Please see my note on the article Talk page as to why I removed the mention of the arrest. There is no evidence, to this point in time, of any connection between the arrest and the explosion - and the only person on record discussing the possibility (a Texas State Fire Marshal spokeswoman) flatly denied it. If there is an official determination that the person is suspected of causing the explosion, and any charges are filed, we can go from there, but we shouldn't be speculating. Hi WW. You edited Lebanese diaspora a while ago (okay, it was September 2008 :) ) and included some approximate figures for diaspora population by country. Orphaned non-free media (File:Bnews-australia-cover.jpg)
Thanks for uploading File:Bnews-australia-cover.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful.
Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 08:16, 4 June 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of P. Reign
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on P. Reign requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.
STATic message me! 22:56, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
The article DJ Static (American DJ) has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article. The nominator also raised the following concern:
- All biographies of living people created after March 18, 2010, must have references.
Tassedethe (talk) 00:58, 6 June 2013 (UTC)

I hate to burst your bubble, but what makes Michael notable for his antics outside of the Voice? Having done some research, both of the bands he was in, Domino Go! and the Wayne Foundation have failed to crack the UK Singles Chart and so has he. From what I see, he fails WP:1EVENT. A good portion of the content you added to the page when you removed the proposed deletion tag are either unsourced, poorly sourced (you cannot use a link to a photo or a photo blog as a source), or blatantly false (you state Cohen appeared on the cover of DNA Magazine which the citation does not say at all). Foreigners and elections in Mexico (Rebecca Black)
Greetings: Regarding your correction: the source cited mentions article 33 of the Mexican Constitution. Of course I have no idea what article 33 of the Mexican constitution actually says. As Wikipedia editors we could but we shouldn't have to go ourselves check what it is exactly that the Mexican Constitution and/or Mexican election laws say about foreigners getting involved in elections, so I propose we scrap the whole alledged reason why Black wasn't supposed to get involved, and just leave the bare fact that she did and was criticized for it, like so: "Black drew criticism for supporting Enrique Pena Nieto for President of Mexico in the 2012 general elections." The reader can then, if they choose, check (or not) the source given and see whether they want to pursue the matter and see if what the source says is or not correct. Cheers. Contact Basemetal here 02:46, 21 July 2013 (UTC)
- Greetings. Sorry for the late answer. I think you were right to delete it the first time, but I thought it was because it was in the career section. Of course it has nothing at all to do with her "career". Is it a piece of information that has its place in an article about a 16 year old YouTube sensation? It can be argued back and forth. On one hand you are right it is a trivial piece of information that will most likely be of no consequence either on the elections or her "career". On the other hand many articles about show business people carry the same kind info (their involvement in politics, philantropy, ecology, what have you) even though it is of just as little consequence. Just to stay consistent with common practice in the case of WP articles regarding show business people I personally thought it had its place here. Now if you feel that this is a special case and you feel strongly such information doesn't belong in a WP article at least in this special case, feel free to delete that whole bit, I will not reinstate it, now that you've told me your point of view. Cheers. Contact Basemetal here 23:28, 22 July 2013 (UTC)

The article AJ Junior has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article. The nominator also raised the following concern:
- All biographies of living people created after March 18, 2010, must have references.
Tomas e (talk) 18:31, 2 August 2013 (UTC)

Hello! For what you added Belgium in other songs when songs not was charted? I think you have to deleted now this. Please answer me on my discussion page. This is strange when songs from album are charted oin singles sales. Eurohunter (talk) 19:43, 31 August 2013 (UTC)
- Big thanks for your post. When I was comment about Belgium I not check update on charts this songs... Sorry. Yes you allgright. When all songs from album are join to singles sales how check is album sales? One people buy one song from album = one album sales? Maybe when some songs are in top 20 should be write articles for songs? I will be write "Tout les mêmes" on Polish Wikipedia.
- You known Charts in France. I think forum also. They have sales album and singles in week for Top 200. Where they found this?
- And I like Arash "Boro Boro" (gold in Sweden), "Melody" (acoustic very good but hq released too?) and some other. I also like Sean Paul, Zack Hemsey and more. I listen Khaled "C'est la vie" (maybe you known he have more this style songs? I should check his discography). I was make feature Stromae discography on Polish Wikipedia, maybe you check (your opinion) and maybe you too on English? Check my articles on Polish Wikipedia (a lot of articles was created only for blue link but rest I liked). You can subscribe me on YuuTube or follow on Twitter and I too when you chave account. Armenian celebrities in France
You might be surprised to know Frenchmen know absolutely nothing about Shahan Shahnour or his works. But virtually everybody in French-speaking countries (I happen to be a Frenchman born and living abroad) knows Alice Sapritch (if only through her role in La Folie des grandeurs with Louis de Funès). I guess Shahan Shahnour is a literature celebrity among Armenians just as Cigerxwîn among the Kurds as a major Kurdish writer and poet, but he was/is probably totally unknown in Sweden. They should rather be included in lists of the main transnational personalities & national treasures among their respective diasporas, not just as mere local French or Swedish Armenians or Kurds. --Minorities observer (talk) 19:22, 1 September 2013 (UTC)

- File:Natteravn-rasmus-seebach.jpg
- File:I-mine-oejne-rasmus-seebach.jpg

You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the images because the source is incomplete. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact Web page where you found the images, rather than only giving the source domain or the URL of the image files themselves. Please update the image descriptions with URLs that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page or me at my talk page. Thank you. Message delivered by Theo's Little Bot (opt-out) 21:07, 2 September 2013 (UTC)

The article Clear the Stage has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Does not meet the criteria of notable songs: WP:NSONG with 3 being marginal as the composer's article is about to be nominated for deletion.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Walter Görlitz (talk) 20:28, 17 September 2013 (UTC)

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Jews-of-egypt-poster.jpg
Thank you for uploading File:Jews-of-egypt-poster.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 13:36, 26 September 2013 (UTC)

File source problem with File:Voice-of-peace-ship.jpg
Thank you for uploading File:Voice-of-peace-ship.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.
If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 14:13, 26 September 2013 (UTC)

AFC comments
I don't know if you added this AFC comment by hand or with a script, but it was added with your signature outside the template rather than inside of it. This confused the AFC Helper Script, which goes to some length to move "afc-" templates and their contents to the top of the page and everything else - including your signature - below the ---- line (which it will insert if it is missing).
If you are using a script, the maintainer of that script and the maintainer of the AFC Helper Script need to get their heads together. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 00:24, 17 October 2013 (UTC)

Page moves
Some of your recent page moves have been highlighted to me by another user, TonyStarks (talk · contribs). They are somewhat problematic - for example, why did you move the article now located at Al Nasr FC (Cairo) twice? Why did you not discuss the move via WP:RM? Have you gone and fixed broken links/double redirects etc.? GiantSnowman 18:32, 31 October 2013 (UTC)
- Making such numerous, broad edits (i.e. changing the entire naming convention for a large number of articles) requires WP:CONSENSUS. GiantSnowman 19:05, 31 October 2013 (UTC)
- I do not have the time to revert your moves - either you should, or another editor may. Either way you know for the future. GiantSnowman 19:18, 31 October 2013 (UTC)

Cut-and-paste move
Hi, Werldwayd. Please don't copy content from one page, such as Se7en (disambiguation), and paste it into another page, such as Se7en, and then redirect the former page to the latter. This is a "cut-and-paste move," even where you added more content besides the material you copied, and it breaks up the page history. In this case, it is very difficult to fix, because both pages had extensive histories before you edited them. The correct approach here would have been to request a move of the disambiguation page to the new title, and then edit the disambiguation page to add the new content. I am tempted to undo the whole thing and let you start over, but I'm going to wait a little and think about it, since I can see you spent a lot of time on this. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 23:22, 27 December 2013 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for December 31
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Geeno Fabulous, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Yazoo (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
