• You didn't ask a question, but if it is to do with the speedy deletion nomination on Atlanta Baroque Orchestra, don't worry, I have declined the nomination, as the article makes enough of an assertion of importance or significance not to qualify for speedy deletion. I have therefore removed the "hangon" tag you added, which is no longer required. You could improve the article by adding some more references, so as to put notability beyond doubt - the definition is showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." WP:Notability (organizations and companies) explains more, and WP:Your first article and WP:Writing better articles give general advice. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 19:39, 14 November 2010 (UTC)

Hi! This note is to apologize for my words yesterday and retract them. I have been satisfactorily assured your intentions are good. You'll be happy to know that the User with bad intentions got caught creating a hate/attack page yesterday which DID meet the criteria for speedy deletion (JohnCD caught them). Update

I have contacted several Atlanta Baroque Orchestra members who have scrapbooks of articles about the orchestra published in nationally recognized newspapers and magazines. I will be collecting them and publishing additional references going back to 1998. Thanks for the encouragement and support from the editors. Wheat Williams 16:28, 16 November 2010 (UTC)

Notability

I have posted proper ABA references to 24 articles from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution spanning 12 years. I'm in the process of obtaining the full text of the actual articles and studying them for material to incorporate in the article with in-line references. Hi there, just a couple of things. Be sure to electronically sign your name and date stamp on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~) or click on the signature button in the tool bar:

The button looks like or depending on what version of the editor you are using. Doing it by hand as you are doing makes it impossible for other editors to know what your actual Wikipedia user name is or have a live link so they contact you on your talk page. Wikipedia:Signatures has more guidance on this.

Also, I have restored the deleted messages on Talk:Atlanta Baroque Orchestra. Article talk pages are meant to be a record of all communication about the article. Please do not remove or significantly refactor messages even your own, except in very limited circumstances, i.e. to remove blatant vandalism or defamatory remarks about living people. WP:TALK has guidance on this for new users. Good luck with the article, by the way, it's shaping up well. Do drop by WikiProject Classical music. It has lots of advice for editors working in the area and you can ask questions of exchange ideas with other editors on the Project's talk page.
