Hello, WhoIsDanielHord, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as The Layup, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

Speedy deletion nomination of The Layup

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on The Layup requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organized event (tour, function, meeting, party, etc.) that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. >>> Ingenuity.talk(); 16:44, 15 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Editing while logged out

Hello. It appears you're editing while logged out using 108.210.176.169. Please stay logged in when you have a registered account as otherwise this gives the appearance of separate individuals editing the same articles or like you're evading scrutiny of your edits (even if you're not doing anything "wrong"). 2023 Georgia Tech vs. Miami football game moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, 2023 Georgia Tech vs. Miami football game, is not suitable as written to remain published. Thank you for your contributions. I am not sure why this single game is notable. Please provide references following MOS:REF. It is best to start with references rather than putting an unreferenced article in main space. You can work on it in draft to get it referenced. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Copy paste moves

edit

Hey there. In the future, in order to move entire articles, please do not copy paste. Instead, use the WP:MOVE button. Copy paste moves mess up the article's history, which is a problem for copyright reasons and for organizational reasons. Please see WP:CWW for more info. Hope that helps. Happy editing. –Novem Linguae (talk) 22:49, 11 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets starting quarterbacks, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Haynes King. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Camp Pinnacle

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Camp Pinnacle requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://www.camppinnacle.com/pages/about-us/history.php (archived copy). For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

2406:3003:2077:1E60:EA76:14DD:8E35:943E (talk) 08:18, 22 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
