Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Please do not attack other editors, as you did at Belarus. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. – Sabbatino (talk) 12:38, 29 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content, as you did at John Terry, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Mattythewhite (talk) 17:21, 9 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Where someone currently plays is NEVER sourced in the opening of an article, only in its body. If you doubt, you can look for sources yourself. It's called WP:Be bold. You're welcome. WikiArticleEditor (talk) 17:27, 9 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
WP:BURDEN. You're welcome. Mattythewhite (talk) 17:31, 9 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
I'm not interested in that. Enjoy outdated information in your articles, then. WikiArticleEditor (talk) 17:36, 9 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
No wonder you're reluctant to add a source; none actually exist. Fake news is not welcome on Wikipedia. Mattythewhite (talk) 17:41, 9 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
[1], for one. Oh, you actually looked. Great. WikiArticleEditor (talk) 18:28, 9 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom 2018 election voter message

edit

Hello, WikiArticleEditor. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please do not make direct links to disambiguation pages, as you did here. This creates false positive alerts of errors needing to be fixed, which wastes the time of editors who repair such links. bd2412 T 02:03, 25 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Change at Yuriy Maksymov

edit

Hi. Your change at Yuriy Maksymov doesn't seem to do anything else than remove non-problematic whitespace or am I missing something? Regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 16:24, 9 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

If the statistics look like this, they're easier to check and edit. WikiArticleEditor (talk) 16:58, 9 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
I actually tend to agree but I don't think there is a consensus so I would suggest avoiding these changes. Robby.is.on (talk) 17:07, 9 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Vladimir Beschastnykh

edit

You shouldn't remove references as you did at Vladimir Beschastnykh without any explanation. Robby.is.on (talk) 08:19, 13 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

I've never seen a reference in the statistics table before. It looks ugly, and should be included in the text. WikiArticleEditor (talk) 17:15, 13 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, I somehow missed your reply. At least for footballer articles, single facts in the infobox, such as height and playing position, are frequently referenced. To me, superscript numbers seem harmless visually. Robby.is.on (talk) 09:49, 19 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

For example, re this edit. Could you clarify why the wikt link should be removed? Reading WP:SISTER it says: "WP encourages ... when such links are likely to be useful ...". -DePiep (talk) 12:33, 7 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

I wrote about it on the talk page. WikiArticleEditor (talk) 01:27, 8 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Aleksandr Yerokhin (disambiguation)

edit

The page Aleksandr Yerokhin (disambiguation) has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G14 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it was an orphaned disambiguation page which either

  • disambiguated only one extant Wikipedia page and whose title ended in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic);
  • disambiguated zero extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title; or
  • was a redirect with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" that did not target a disambiguation page or page that has a disambiguation-like function.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.

Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
