Kiss the World vs. Kiss The World
editHi WikiGnome!. I noticed you edits to Kiss the World. A few things to take note of. When an article is to be retitled, it should be moved to the new article title. Copying the text, manually creating the new article and pasting, called a "cut and paste move," destroys the page history of the article. We even have a page just for fixing problems this causes. In this case, the article you pasted to is not a better name. Most articles (the, an, a, etc.) in titles both here and in general are not capitalized. Although there are exceptions, searching through Google reveals that the "the" in Kiss the World is not supposed to be capitalized. Cheers.--Fuhghettaboutit 04:36, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for the pointer. I only changed it because someone else had put a note on the talk page suggesting it.WikiGnome 04:43, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
- Glad to be of service.--Fuhghettaboutit 04:48, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
Comment
editHi, I noticed you characerized my edit as vandalism. Let me state that I never intended it as such, and my edit record shows a slew of positive edits which belay that characterization. If it came across as vandalism, it was due to my inexperience with Wikipedia conventions, not with intent. 72.79.198.204 07:30, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
- your edit (adding that it should be deleted) wasn't vandalism--the previous edit (advertising for a movie of that name) was. I just reverted it to the previous state--a redirect to a disambiguation page.WikiGnome 16:45, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
AfD nomination of Catlow (band)
editCatlow (band), an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that Catlow (band) satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Catlow (band) and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Catlow (band) during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Leuko 01:29, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

Little Marvin moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, Little Marvin, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 11:34, 25 October 2022 (UTC)

Your draft article, Draft:Little Marvin
editHello, WikiGnome. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Little Marvin".
