please stop creating this recreating this article on the indie music conference. It's been speedily deleted multiple times and recreating it each time only creates work for others and is not going to force it's way onto Wikipedia.--RadioFan (talk) 11:21, 14 September 2011 (UTC)

HOW MANY TIMES ARE YOU GOING TO DELETE A VALID PAGE???

There are THIRTY TWO OTHER music conferences featured in Wikipedia. Unless you plan to "speedy delete" ALL of them, there must be a way that the Independent Music Conference can also be featured.

The short answer is that the article will not be deleted again because it can not be created again. The article has been protected so only those with the highest level of privileges on wikipedia (i.e. not me, not even the administrators who have been deleting this article) can recreate it. This was necessary because it was created over and over without any indication of how it might meet notability guidelines. The other other articles on conferences make no difference here. Each article must meet general notability guidelines which means that it's got to be clear that there has been significant coverage of the topic in reliable sources. In at least one case, the article was deleted because it was simply copied and pasted from the conference website, this is raised copyright violation which are taken very seriously.
