There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing. Additionally, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for your contributions to Wikipedia, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.

If you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In that reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block. To do so, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page, replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason for thinking that the block was an error, and publish the page.

I would like to be unblocked in order to address some problems with a specific article that currently presents an unbalanced point of view.

No thanks, we aren't interested in unblocking you to do that. If you wish to write about subject areas for which you have no conflict of interest, tell us what those are. Yamla (talk) 17:55, 29 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Please note I am not paid to contribute to Wikipedia by any client, but I am an employee of the company about which the article is writtenWikialphaplus (talk) 17:52, 29 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

'I am requesting to be unblocked in order to address some problems with a specific article in respect of the requirement for articles to be written from a neutral point of view. If unblocked, I pledge that I will fully comply with all of Wikipedia’s policies and guidelines and in particular on editing with a conflict of interest and with the paid contribution disclosure. The blocking arose due to a lack of awareness of these requirements. I am now fully aware of these policies and guidelines and if unblocked, they will be fully complied with from now on. I am an employee of Alpha Plus Group. If unblocked, I will place a statement of this employment status on:

• My user page;

• The talk page accompanying contributions made on any affected articles. I will use this template: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Conflict_of_interest#Paid_editors for this;

• The edit summary accompanying contributions made on any affected articles.

In making any edits to the article about Alpha Plus Group itself, I further confirm that I will introduce no text which could be identified as promotional or advertising. I am proposing a change of username in order to comply with the point re username usage outlined above. If unblocked, I would like to propose edits to some material - which have been added by an anonymous contributor - on the Alpha Plus Group page with the intention that the article be more reflective of a neutral point of view. I will welcome comments and edits by the community on my proposed edits, and would be pleased to dialogue on the talk page with any editor, fully disclosing my employment status at all times, about any of these points Wikialphaplus (talk) 12:07, 1 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Since you don't describe any subjects unrelated to your conflict of interest that you want to edit about, there are no grounds to lift the block. You won't be unblocked to just represent your company. If that's all you are interested in doing, this is the end of the line. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 23:28, 1 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

I've received your email; you need to get unblocked before pursuing any Wikipedia-related matters. The only edit today was to fix a typo, which is hardly an attack. 331dot (talk) 09:05, 8 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

I prefer to conduct Wikipedia related matters on Wikipedia unless the most sensitive personal information is involved. I would ask that you not email me about this matter further. Thank you. 331dot (talk) 09:50, 8 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
