Can you help me out, please. I'm pretty unaware of the consequence of copyrighting. I truly appologise for that. However, I've seen many article in wikipedia that has copied their facts in certain website. How can I do it to uncopyright and remain this page in the Wiki? User:Williamteoh97 < 13:09, 30 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi William. I've deleted the page. Read carefully Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions, and also the rest of the message above. I'm afraid the blog entry would be unacceptable for this project, as it is written rather as someone's personal essay, not as an encyclopedic and reliably referenced article. Thanks for your understanding. --Vejvančický (talk | contribs) 14:12, 30 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Non-free images

edit

Please see Wikipedia:Non-free content. Only in specific situations can material that is under copyright be used in wikipedia, and it can't be used outside of that. While a picture of each Prime Minister would be nice, it isn't essential to that article, unlike on their pages. Regards, CMD (talk) 15:17, 12 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Williamteoh97,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Kek Look Seah Temple should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kek Look Seah Temple .

Proposed deletion of Sam Poh Tong

Hello, Williamteoh97. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Sam Poh Tong, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

Permesta associated with communism

edit

Hi, Williamteoh97. I noticed you added the template Communism in Indonesia to the Permesta article. This gives the impression that Permesta was a communist movement. On the contrary, it had other motives related to more regional control. The article talks about how the CIA assisted the Permesta movement due to the growing influence of the Indonesian communist party, but there are many other events and incidents in Indonesia at that time that pitted the interests of those who were against communism. I am removing the template from the article. In addition, I am removing Permesta from the "Incidents" list on the template. If you like to discuss further, you can leave a note on my talk page. The article List of cities and towns in Malaysia with large Malaysian Chinese populations has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Redundant, there's already Malaysian Chinese. Not informative, it just rehashes statistics from the 2010 census. Vague, what is a "large" population, what is the cut off?

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 11:34, 29 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
