Hello, I'm Simonm223. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to History of the chair have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. No, the edit was constructive. You on the other hand seem to have an agenda with that particular article, and are close to breaching WP:3RR. Willy Batz MD (talk) 16:28, 16 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Jake Wartenberg (talk) 16:55, 16 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

A pretty disgraceful block tbh. You're really showing up just how biased this whole site and its cabal of administrators is by blocking me and doing nothing about the edit warring, socking and one-track agenda of those reverting the change at History of the chair and engineering a discussion to ensure its removal. There has been a total abuse of process throughout and you've allowed this rot to take root here at WP. I have done absolutely nothing wrong except try to combat this - those responsible for my block must hang their heads in shame! Willy Batz MD (talk) 14:02, 17 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Obvious trollery is obvious. TPA unecessary. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 16:31, 17 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Do you have any sources to support your edit? PhilKnight (talk) 15:13, 17 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Yes I do. Willy Batz MD (talk) 15:35, 17 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
There is significant off-Wiki canvassing happening to "raid" this article and insert the racist claim that chairs didn't exist in Sub Saharan Africa. The source given for this is a blog. And that blog doesn't even support the claim. There has been significant disruption at the page and it did lead to some rather substantial protection measures applied because of the disruption. I think it's important any admin assessing this unblock request be aware of this context. Simonm223 (talk) 15:48, 17 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
