My first page...
editMy user page was my first attempt at creating a Wiki page. I created a user account because I believed it necessary in order to edit existing pages.

Expired user...
editI have questions about expired Wiki users, and about policy issues regarding source of articles (in particular, articles on other-language Wikis! --Wilma Sweden 16:24, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
- Hello, you used the {{helpme}} tag. How may I help you? When you've asked your question, please put the tag back so we know to check back. Alternatively, you can join the Wikipedia Bootcamp IRC channel to get real-time help. (Use the web-based client to get instant access.)—WAvegetarian•(talk) 16:28, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
I found an image here [:image:Nfpony.jpg], and uploaded it to Wikimedia Commons to use for an article on the Swedish Wikipedia about the New Forest pony. Trouble is, the image won't be accepted on the Commons unless there are clear indications as to who the creator of the image is, and I can't get hold of the original uploader on this Wiki, because his account appears to have expired. If you have any contact information about this user and are able to ask him whether he took the photograph himself, that would be very helpful. If not, the image will have to be deleted off Wikimedia Commons, which means I shall have to find some other illustration for the Swedish article. I think the Swedish Wiki is about as strict about copyright issues as Wikimedia Commons, so it's no use uploading the image there.
Thank you in advance. Yours sincerely, --Wilma Sweden 14:50, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
- There are two ways to contact a user: a note on their talk page or by email. The user who uploaded Image:Nfpony.jpg is Rickster2kuk, their talk page is User talk:Rickster2kuk. Rickster2kuk does not have an email address activated, and they have not edited in over 1 year, so I think your chances of contacting them are poor. --Commander Keane 15:02, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
AfD nomination of Bertram Heribertson
editAn editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Bertram Heribertson. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bertram Heribertson. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.
Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:07, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
